FlokiNET is an Icelandic privacy-focused hosting provider established in 2012. The principal operator, FlokiNET ehf, is based in Reykjavík, Iceland and appears in the ISNIC registry as a DNS provider. Product responsibility is divided across jurisdictions: Flokinet Services Ltd in Seychelles handles WHOIS privacy and domain registration, while CDN and proxy work can be supplied by the Seychelles entity and Flokinet Ltd in Belize. Icelandic law governs agreements with the Icelandic company, so customers should identify the contracting entity attached to their chosen service.

The business was created to support free speech, press freedom and whistleblowing initiatives. Its strongest fit is with independent media, journalists, civil-society organizations, activists, investigative teams and privacy-aware infrastructure administrators, though ordinary companies can also use the platform. Abuse and legal challenges are handled with attention to the law of the server location. Signal and PGP-encrypted email protect sensitive communication, employee devices and internal channels use encryption, and FlokiNET contributes Tor exit and relay capacity while accepting contact through Tor.

Ordinary registration can begin with one valid email address and does not require an identity document. That concise promise does not mean the service generates no personal data. The privacy policy records IP address, access time, visit duration, browser and operating-system details; a customer account may also contain a full name, billing information, contact details and an assigned ID. Payment processors receive what they need to complete transactions. Regulated services have stronger requirements: sponsored ASN registration through the LIR service requires full documentation and a passport copy under RIPE rules. The actual privacy footprint therefore depends on the product, payment method and access pattern.

Stored and transferred customer data uses encryption, internal databases have access controls, and employee communications are end-to-end encrypted. Server data can be disclosed upon a court order from the country in which it is stored. Jurisdictional protection is not permission for unlawful use. The AUP excludes spam, port scanning, DDoS origination, malware, hacking attempts, phishing, impersonation, botnets, carding, terrorism-related material, doxxing and unlicensed pharmaceutical sales. Chia mining is banned across shared hosting, VPS and dedicated servers, and adult material is not accepted in Iceland. Virtual and physical servers are unmanaged unless a separate administration service is purchased.

Domain Registration covers popular extensions and includes WHOIS privacy for most eligible domains. Each includes daily backup, unmetered traffic and DDoS filtering. A compatible cPanel account can be migrated at no charge, but the entire account must move, the process can take 48 hours, and the new package needs at least 20% more storage. Individual sites or mailboxes are not eligible for this automated migration.

Business Hosting places company accounts on a dedicated shared environment with LiteSpeed, LSCache and Imunify360. BH1 is €9 monthly for 10GB SSD, unlimited MySQL databases, 2GB RAM, 200% CPU and 25 concurrent requests. Anti-DDoS Shared Hosting runs in the Netherlands with LiteSpeed, Imunify360, a web-application firewall and filtering at network and host level. Dutch DDoS inclusion should be confirmed for the exact system.

GPU Servers run in European datacenters on renewable energy. The €758-per-month L4 configuration combines a 24GB NVIDIA L4, 16-core AMD EPYC processor, 64GB DDR5, two 400GB NVMe SSDs, a 1Gbit port and a 100Mbps commitment. The €2,047 L40S configuration upgrades to a 48GB NVIDIA L40S while retaining the same base server allocation. Both suit AI training and inference, scientific work, rendering and model serving. Four- and eight-GPU systems are coming soon. The GPU category uses a €199 starting headline even though its fully specified orderable machines begin at €758, so the lower figure needs clarification.

Colocation provides redundant electrical paths, UPS and generator protection, cooling, access control, monitoring and remote hands for customer equipment. Network uplinks are multihomed, and Icelandic and Finnish operations use renewable-heavy energy. Romania 1U costs €99 monthly with 108kWh/150W, 1Gbit/10TB, one IPv4 and an IPv6 /64. The range rises to a €2,829 Romanian 42U rack with 3,600kWh/5,000W, a 10Gbit uplink, 500Mbps committed bandwidth and ten IPv4 addresses. The power guarantee is 99.999%. Iceland and the Netherlands also accept colocation, but their exact current charges should be verified before shipment.

The separate DDoS Mitigation cloud has more than 1Tbps capacity and supports secure uplink, network tunnel and hosted-infrastructure deployment. Secure uplink relies on BGP over direct peering or cross-connect; outbound relay use is free for about 36 hours monthly, after which 95/5 charging applies. A GRE or L2TP tunnel can announce an attacked subnet through BGP without rerouting normal outbound traffic. Hosted protection covers rented and colocated systems. The service can protect an entire AS, does not impose a fixed attack-count or IP-count ceiling, supports resale and accepts custom layer requirements.

Investigative Tools add deployment and ongoing management for newsroom technology. GlobaLeaks is €180 per month, and OpenAleph and LiquidInvestigations are each €800; SecureDrop and Matrix are available through consultation. Managed Proton combines ProtonMail-based secure email with setup and administration for €53 monthly plus €79 setup. Two CDN and Cybersecurity packages remain in the catalog but currently have zero availability. CDN I costs €25 monthly plus €50 setup for one domain, 10,000 monthly visitors and 50Gbit protection. The LIR identity-document requirement is an important exception to the general low-data signup model.
