Flexwebhosting is a long-established Dutch hosting provider with roots going back to 2001. The company was founded by Jeroen Bouten and grew from a relatively small hosting operation into a sizeable provider serving more than 60,000 customers, around 150,000 domain names, and thousands of web servers within Dutch infrastructure.

Its ownership has changed substantially over the years. Flexwebhosting was acquired by PCextreme B.V. on December 18, 2019, becoming part of Total Webhosting Solutions. From January 1, 2022, Flexwebhosting became part of Versio. The current legal structure identifies Flexwebhosting as a trade name of Your Hosting B.V., which forms part of the larger Your.Online (your.online) hosting group.

There are still some differences between older corporate information and the current legal structure. Current contractual information uses Your Hosting B.V. and its Zwolle address, while some contact information continues to associate Flexwebhosting with Versio and Lelystad. Older corporate information also contains references to Eindhoven. For contractual purposes, the current Your Hosting B.V. information is the most relevant.

The present product portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud VPS, High Availability VPS, Email Hosting, Domain Registration, Domain Transfers, SSL Certificates, SpamExperts, Website Builder, and additional technical assistance. Dedicated servers belonged to the previous product range but are no longer offered, with VPS now serving as the main alternative. Managed WordPress hosting has also been discontinued as a separate product.

Shared Hosting is mainly suited to business websites, portfolios, smaller web shops, and customers who prefer a managed hosting environment in the Netherlands. The Complete package includes 20 GB storage, five websites, unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases, and unlimited traffic. Max increases storage to 100 GB with support for ten websites, while Power provides 200 GB.

Hosting accounts include spam and virus filtering and can be managed through DirectAdmin. Installatron simplifies application deployment, while customers also receive Roundcube webmail, FTP access, cron jobs, subdomain management, MariaDB databases, phpMyAdmin, email aliases, forwarding, and autoresponders.

Some technical documentation still reflects older software generations, including references to PHP 7 and older operating-system versions. Customers running applications with strict PHP, database, or operating-system requirements should therefore verify the exact versions currently available when ordering.

Reseller Hosting is one of the more complete areas of the service. The entry package includes 50 GB storage, 5,000 GB traffic, 25 websites, DirectAdmin, Installatron, and 50 GB external backup space. Larger plans increase capacity to 100 GB with 50 websites and 250 GB with 100 websites. External backup capacity also increases with the larger packages, and setup is included without an additional activation fee.

For more demanding workloads, Flexwebhosting offers standard Cloud VPS and High Availability Cloud VPS. Standard VPS configurations use local NVMe SSD storage, while the High Availability platform combines distributed NVMe/Ceph storage with automatic failover. IPv6 is available, Docker workloads are supported, and customers can choose between managed control-panel configurations and servers without a hosting panel.

The VPS configurator supports considerably larger configurations than the entry plans, including systems with substantial CPU, RAM, and NVMe storage allocations. DirectAdmin and Plesk can be added to suitable configurations, while monitoring and additional management services are also available.

Email Hosting can be purchased without web hosting. The Standard package provides 20 GB of mailbox capacity with unlimited email addresses, while the Large package increases storage to 50 GB. Spam filtering, secure mail protocols, forwarding, and autoresponders are included.

Security services include commercial SSL certificates, with single-domain, multi-domain, wildcard, and Extended Validation options. Installation is included. A separate SpamExperts service is available for domains hosted either at Flexwebhosting or with another provider. It includes incoming and outgoing spam filtering, malware and phishing protection, mail queueing when the destination server is unavailable, and a dedicated management interface.

Flexwebhosting also offers a hosted Website Builder. Basic, Premium, and Unlimited packages differ in the number of pages, templates, mailbox capacity, and available widgets. The builder uses SLIMON/CM4ALL technology and creates responsive websites, making it suitable for customers who want a straightforward website without maintaining WordPress or another CMS.

Domain registration and domain transfers are handled from the same customer environment. Extensions such as .nl, .be, and .eu can usually be transferred rapidly when the required authorization information is available, while extensions such as .com and .net may require several days to complete. DNS management is included with domain services.

Additional technical assistance covers website migrations, server migrations, domain-name changes, and remote support. Website migration work starts at approximately €60, while certain migrations to managed VPS environments can be included with the service.

The service is primarily Dutch, and no complete multi-language/localized storefront exists. Product pricing is in EUR (€). The website uses a modern responsive layout suitable for desktop and mobile devices, although several older technical and contractual sections remain alongside the current product information.
