FirstHeberg is a French hosting provider with a long history and a particularly broad range of infrastructure services for a company that remains competitive in the budget and mid-range segments. The business began in 2007 under the Freeheberg name, while FirstHeberg became the commercial brand in 2010. It operates under Techcréa Solutions, a French infrastructure and telecommunications company based in Marly, with Jérémy Martin as PDG.

One of FirstHeberg's main strengths is the amount of infrastructure it controls directly. The company operates its own datacenter in Marly, France, together with its own network under AS197922, while additional equipment is hosted in Lille and Valenciennes. This gives FirstHeberg direct control over servers, networking, IP resources and much of the underlying hosting environment.

The shared hosting range covers very small personal sites through larger agency workloads. First Gratuit is a free package with 100 MB of storage, one website, one email account and SSL. Activation requires an authenticated customer account and a French mobile number. First Perso increases storage to 10 GB NVMe, while First Pro provides 50 GB, First Agency 300 GB and First Private Cloud 500 GB. Higher packages also receive more CPU, memory, email capacity and overall resource allocation.

First Private Cloud is effectively the most powerful shared hosting package, with 4 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 500 GB NVMe storage. It suits customers who need considerably more resources than ordinary shared hosting without immediately moving to a VPS.

Annual paid shared hosting includes domain registration and renewal for eligible extensions. Free SSL certificates are provided through Let's Encrypt. DNS management, FTP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, cron jobs, statistics, backups and remote MySQL access are available depending on the selected package. The newer Dell PowerEdge R640 range starts at approximately €49.99 excluding tax per month and includes Start, Essential, Performance, Advanced and Ultra configurations. The most powerful systems reach dual Intel Xeon Gold processors and 512 GB DDR4 ECC memory, with SSD or NVMe storage, networking up to 10 Gb/s and iDRAC 9 remote management.

The Rack range uses Dell R630 and R730xd hardware, also starting near €49.99 per month. Configurations range from approximately 32 GB through 512 GB DDR4 ECC RAM. Hardware RAID, SSD and NVMe storage, 10 Gb/s network interfaces and private networking make these servers useful for virtualization, storage systems and database-heavy workloads.

Customers with smaller budgets can use the First Budget dedicated range, which starts around €12.99 excluding tax per month. Entry systems use Intel Atom processors, while more capable configurations are based on older Core i3, i5 and i7 hardware. These machines are less powerful than the R640 range but remain useful for backups, lightweight applications, development systems and workloads where inexpensive dedicated hardware is more important than recent CPU architecture.

FirstHeberg also offers dedicated NAS systems. The NAS Starter range uses Synology hardware and supports storage capacities reaching 32 TB, while QNAP-based Starter+ and Ultra configurations provide larger capacities of up to 64 TB together with 10 Gb/s network interfaces. RAID, backup, VPN, cloud file access and administrative functions are available, making these systems useful for centralized storage and business backup workloads.

The company also handles housing and colocation, from a single 1U server through larger 24U half-rack configurations. Customers retain control of their own equipment while FirstHeberg provides power, connectivity, DDoS protection, equipment reception and remote technical assistance.

Additional infrastructure options include IPv4 Fail Over addresses, larger IPv4 blocks, private VLANs, backups and snapshots. Failover addresses can be moved between compatible servers, which is especially useful for migrations, virtualization clusters and redundancy planning.
