📄 Editorial Review

FireStorm is a Switzerland-based hosting and internet-services provider operating as FireStorm ISP GmbH, active since 2002 and headquartered in Tann (Canton Zurich). They run a broad, practical catalog built for small businesses, agencies, and technical customers who want Swiss data handling with a "one provider for everything" approach: web hosting, Windows hosting, email services, domains, VPS/root servers, colocation/server housing, DNS services, SSL certificates, and several business add-ons.

The shared hosting lineup is split into Linux Web Hosting and Windows Hosting. Both lines include unlimited domains and email accounts, daily backups, webmail (SOGo/Roundcube), security layers (firewall + DDoS protection), and a large one-click app library (WordPress/Joomla/Typo3 and more). The Windows side adds ASP.NET Core, MSSQL, and IIS-oriented capabilities, which makes it a practical choice for .NET applications that don’t fit a Linux stack.

Beyond classic hosting, FireStorm also runs a fully hosted Mail Hosting range (plus options like a newsletter SMTP service and a MailCleaner proxy model), Cloud Storage based on Nextcloud (multi-user, mobile access, encryption, daily backups), and a reseller-oriented portfolio: Reseller Hosting with multi-account management, DNS manager access, and Plesk-based administration with branding options for agencies.

On the infrastructure side, they offer Root Server / VPS plans with root access, SSD/NVMe storage tiers, a customer-panel workflow (start/stop/reset, statistics, virtual console), and optional Plesk and Windows add-ons. For customers with their own hardware, Server Housing is available in rack-unit slices up to full rack options, including UPS protection, firewalling, and bundled IP allocations on larger rack options. They also sell higher-layer extras like ExecGuard (process-execution security at OS level for Linux/Windows servers) and a standalone DNS reseller platform with Anycast-style distribution, API automation, and Dynamic DNS support.

A practical note for international buyers: the website is clearly localized in English, German, French, and Italian, while pricing is primarily shown in CHF (Swiss francs).
