ExonHost is a Bangladesh-based web hosting and infrastructure provider operating since 2009. The business was started by Saleh Ahmed, now CEO and founder, while Mohammad Masumul Haque is COO and co-founder. The present operation is associated with Purple IT Ltd and is headquartered in Dhaka. ExonHost has developed into one of the longer-established independent hosting brands in Bangladesh, with more than 20,000 customers referenced across its current service pages.

The company has gone through several names during its history. Saleh Ahmed originally started the hosting operation as obosor.com in 2009. In 2010, the company acquired the small U.S. hosting business So CheapHost and subsequently adopted the SoCheapHost name. The service moved toward the premium hosting market in 2013 and was renamed HostPair, followed by the registration of HostPair LLC in the United States in 2015. A trademark issue involving PARI Network later resulted in HostPair being renamed ExonHost. This background gives the business a considerably longer operational history than the ExonHost brand alone might suggest.

The core portfolio includes Web Hosting, Turbo Hosting, BDIX Hosting, BDIX Turbo Hosting, Reseller Hosting, KVM VPS, BDIX VPS, Dedicated Servers, domain registration and transfers, Business Email and SSL certificates. A broader billing catalog has also contained Windows Hosting, Cloud VPS, BDIX Xen VPS, Bangladesh colocation, IP rental and server-related add-on services. Standard Web Hosting uses NVMe SSD storage, LiteSpeed with LSCache, CloudLinux/CageFS account isolation, HTTP/3, Softaculous, malware and exploit scanning, SSH access, Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, MariaDB, WordPress management and free Let's Encrypt SSL. The Starter, Standard and Advanced packages provide 5 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB of storage respectively, with bandwidth allowances ranging from 250 GB to 1 TB and support for between two and ten websites. CloudLinux resource allocation is clearly defined instead of relying on vague "unlimited resource" terminology: accounts receive between one and two CPU cores, 700 MB to 2 GB RAM and 20-50 Mbps disk I/O depending on package.

Turbo Hosting is the more resource-intensive shared-hosting range. Turbo Plus includes 50 GB storage and support for 30 websites, Turbo Power increases this to 75 GB and 60 websites, while Turbo Prestige provides 100 GB and supports up to 100 websites. All three have unmetered bandwidth. More importantly, the CloudLinux resource limits are much higher than ordinary shared hosting: four to eight CPU cores, 4-8 GB RAM, 50-150 Mbps I/O and 100-200 concurrent entry processes. For customers primarily serving Bangladesh, BDIX Hosting and BDIX Turbo Hosting place the service inside Bangladesh's local Internet ecosystem. The regular BDIX plans provide 5-20 GB storage and up to 1 TB bandwidth, while the BDIX Turbo packages follow the higher-resource 50 GB, 75 GB and 100 GB configuration. Reseller Hosting is available in three levels. R-Starter provides 20 GB storage, 500 GB bandwidth and up to 25 cPanel accounts; R-Standard increases this to 50 GB, 1 TB and 50 cPanel accounts; R-Advanced reaches 100 GB, 2 TB and 100 cPanel accounts. Each hosted cPanel account receives 1 GB RAM, one CPU core and 20 entry processes. White-label operation, private nameservers, cPanel/WHM and free cPanel migration are included, making the service practical for designers, agencies and small hosting resellers.

Virtual servers are available internationally and inside Bangladesh. The main VPS range uses KVM virtualization, NVMe/SSD storage, dedicated IP addresses and full root access. Los Angeles packages scale as high as 32 GB RAM and 300 GB NVMe storage, while BDIX VPS packages are hosted in Dhaka and also scale to 32 GB RAM and 300 GB storage. Several Linux distributions, FreeBSD/OpenBSD and Windows Server options are available. Server management is included only when cPanel is selected, so customers ordering a VPS without cPanel should expect a substantially more self-managed environment.

The dedicated-server range covers both Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen systems. Configurations include Xeon E3-1230 v5 and E3-1280 v5 servers with dual SSD storage, newer E-2136 and E-2286 systems with 1 TB NVMe drives, Ryzen 5800X and 5900X servers, and dual-Xeon configurations. Full root access is available, while managed service is tied to choosing cPanel. This is an important distinction for buyers who expect server administration to be included automatically.

Domain services include registration and transfers together with free DNS management, privacy protection and domain theft protection. Business Email is a separate hosted-mail product with 25 GB, 50 GB and 100 GB storage tiers, unlimited mailbox creation within available resources, spam and antivirus filtering, webmail, IMAP/SMTP/POP, CardDAV/CalDAV and calendar/contact synchronization. Sending limits are 100 messages per hour per user and 5,000 messages per day per domain.

Commercial SSL certificates are also available in addition to the free Let's Encrypt certificates included with hosting. The SSL portfolio includes certificates from GeoTrust, RapidSSL, Sectigo and Symantec, covering DV, EV and wildcard requirements.

The main ExonHost storefront is primarily in English. The billing environment supports account currency selection, with both USD and BDT appearing in current ordering flows. This is useful for the company's mixture of Bangladeshi and international customers. Some technical copy has not been refreshed consistently: several sections still refer to PHP 7.4 or older PHP ranges even though the main Web Hosting feature table now includes PHP 5.6-8.x. The footer on several sections also still shows 2023 while the new billing system is actively operating in 2026. Customers with specific runtime requirements should therefore confirm the selected package configuration during checkout rather than relying on every historical specification shown in older sections.
