Execulink Telecom is a long-established Canadian telecommunications and Internet provider headquartered in Woodstock, Ontario, with roots dating back to 1904. The business began as the Burgessville Telephone Company when local physician Dr. Service created a telephone connection between his office and the general store in Holbrook. A switchboard followed in 1905, and the local telephone operation gradually evolved through several corporate stages into today's Execulink.

The North Norwich telephone system became part of Hurontario in 1984, while Internet service was added in 1995. Execulink Internet Services subsequently became an important part of the organization, and by 2000 Execulink had become the common company name. Expansion continued through acquisitions including MGL and Odyssey between 2000 and 2002, followed by Golden.net in 2004. Ian Stevens became CEO in 2006, succeeding Keith Stevens, and the current Woodstock headquarters opened in 2013.

Execulink remains privately held and operates well beyond conventional web hosting. Its business portfolio includes Internet and fibre connectivity, managed Wi-Fi, hosted phone systems, SIP trunking, Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, private networking, domains, SSL certificates, email services, web hosting and colocation. Its customer base spans residential users, small and medium businesses, enterprise customers, government organizations and wholesale partners. The company has approximately 50,000 customers, with its workforce in the 51-200 employee range.

Web hosting is now a relatively small part of the overall business compared with Internet connectivity, fibre, voice and managed network services, but four hosting packages remain part of the service portfolio: Web Premium, Web Ultra, Web Presence Pro (DIFM) and Web Commerce Plus (DIFM). The former dedicated hosting sales URL currently redirects to the broader Networking Solutions area, so hosting is much less prominent than Execulink's telecommunications services and current ordering terms are best confirmed directly with sales.

Web Premium includes 100 GB of storage, unmetered traffic, one hosted domain, 25 FTP accounts, 20 email accounts and 500 email-marketing messages per month. Web Ultra increases storage to unlimited while retaining unmetered traffic and raises the email allowance to 30 accounts together with 1,000 email-marketing messages per month.

Both conventional hosting packages include DNS management, FTP management, file management, domain forwarding, website creation tools, PHP support and database functionality. WordPress and Joomla installation tools are also available, together with a Basic SSL certificate and SSL management.

Web Presence Pro (DIFM) combines hosting with a managed Do It For Me website service. It provides 100 GB of storage, unmetered data transfer, 50 email accounts, five professionally developed pages, selected website features or plugins and four hours of website maintenance each year. Database support includes MySQL and a 100 MB MSSQL database.

Web Commerce Plus (DIFM) adds e-commerce functionality for up to 100 products while providing unlimited storage, unmetered traffic, 50 email accounts, five developed pages and annual maintenance. It also includes MySQL and a larger 200 MB MSSQL database. These two DIFM packages are closer to managed website services than conventional budget shared hosting.

All four packages include one domain, 25 FTP accounts, CGI support, PHP management, web analytics, SSL management and a 99.9% target uptime guarantee. Network monitoring operates 24/7.

The hosting infrastructure remains active. Web Premium, Web Ultra and Web Presence Pro use plushosting.execulink.com at 216.251.43.98, while Web Commerce Plus uses ftp.execulink.com at 199.166.6.15. Execulink also continues supporting a number of older grandfathered hosting packages for existing customers.

Domain services are a stronger part of the current business offering. Customers can register, transfer and renew domains, use Execulink DNS hosting and add domain privacy where supported. Domains using Execulink DNS can be administered through MyExeculink.

SSL services include standard, SAN and wildcard certificates with different validation levels. When a website is hosted on Execulink infrastructure, the hosting team can assist with CSR generation and certificate installation.

Hosted Exchange is available for customers needing business email, with several mailbox levels and functionality including Outlook Web Access, IMAP, Microsoft ActiveSync, Global Address List support and MAPI on appropriate packages.

VPS and conventional dedicated-server packages are not part of the current retail portfolio. Businesses requiring their own hardware environment or substantially more infrastructure control are instead served through Execulink's colocation and Data Centre services.

The website has a modern responsive design suitable for desktop and mobile use. English is the primary website language and no multi-language/localized version exists. Commercial pricing is in Canadian dollars (CAD).
