Its legal service operator is Tucows.com Co, and its customer-facing address is the Tucows office at 96 Mowat Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Exact Hosting traces its broader brand history to 1995, while an official Enom transition guide confirms that the company has supplied domain registration and email since 2007. The two dates are best understood separately: 1995 marks the historical origin associated with the brand, whereas 2007 is a documented operating date for those specific services. No founder can be attributed confidently to the present business. Exact Hosting now functions as a compact Tucows division, with Crunchbase placing the visible organization in the 1–10 employee range, supported by its parent's much larger domain-industry and compliance operations.

Its current range is built mainly for individuals, small businesses, and owners of conventional content sites. The principal services are shared web hosting, WordPress hosting, managed WordPress hosting, a website builder, enhanced email, and domain registration. SSL certificates and DNS services are also available through the ordering system. There is no prominent retail route for new public-cloud instances, VPS packages, or dedicated servers. Website Builder provides a simpler route to an online presence. Basic includes ten pages, 250 MB storage, 47 templates, and one mailbox. Pro allows 50 pages, 2 GB, 189 templates, and three mailboxes. Business expands to 300 pages, a 1 TB storage allowance, 208 templates, five mailboxes, and web-store functions. All three include drag-and-drop editing and a free DV SSL certificate. This can work well for a brochure site or modest catalog where editing simplicity matters more than application freedom. The unusually large Business storage allowance does not by itself turn the builder into a server product; page, commerce, database, and processing restrictions still matter.

Enhanced Email is priced per mailbox. Small, Medium, and Large provide 10 GB, 20 GB, and 30 GB respectively, together with POP, IMAP, webmail, spam filtering, forwarding, and vacation autoresponders. A forwarding-only product costs less, and customers on shared, WordPress, managed WordPress, or builder plans can request an upgrade to the enhanced platform. Domain customers receive DNS management, transfer assistance, and access to more than 100 extensions. A normal transfer adds one year to the registration term when registry rules allow it. Domains, invoices, contacts, support requests, and hosting services can all be managed from the same client area.

Exact Hosting has also become a destination for customer portfolios transferred from other providers. Webs/Vistaprint domain and email accounts moved in 2023, while the old Webs builder followed a separate shutdown schedule. EnomCentral domain and email management later moved within the same parent group.
