*📜 Plan description

Custom Cages and Private Suites deliver a dedicated, four-wall environment inside the data hall for organisations that need enhanced physical security, regulatory segregation or branding. You define cabinet count, aisle orientation, power configuration and fire suppression, with densities up to 30 kW per rack and the ability to integrate overhead busways, in-suite meet-me points and dedicated office space. The secure perimeter is fitted with steel-mesh fencing, badge and biometric readers, independent PDUs and optional hot-aisle containment, while 24x7 access, early fire detection and on-site remote hands guarantee peace of mind.

Every eStruxture facility is SOC 2 Type II and PCI-DSS compliant, staffed 24x7, and powered primarily by renewable hydropower. Customers enjoy carrier- and cloud-neutral connectivity to more than 900 partners across Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary, flexible power densities up to 30 kW per rack, and optional managed services.

📄 Editorial Review

eStruxture Data Centers Inc. is a Canadian data center and digital infrastructure company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. The company was founded in 2017 by Todd Coleman, who serves as Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. It entered the market with the acquisition of Netelligent Hosting Services' assets in Montreal, immediately gaining an established customer base, network infrastructure and a high-density downtown data center operation.

Expansion followed rapidly. eStruxture acquired Kolotek and Vancouver-based Backbone Datavault in 2018, extending the business beyond its original Montreal footprint. A much larger transformation came in 2021 with the acquisition of Aptum Technologies' Canadian colocation business, adding eight data centers and significantly expanding operations in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

The company's ownership and financial backing changed substantially in 2024, when Fengate led a C$1.8 billion investment transaction and significantly increased its equity position. Todd Coleman, Jonathan Wener and the Wener Family Office, together with management, retained substantial investments in the company. Expansion financing has continued since then, including another C$150 million financing transaction announced in March 2026, bringing financing raised through its newer ABS and development-company program to approximately C$1.55 billion. A significant part of this capital is being directed toward new high-density and AI-ready data center capacity.

eStruxture is fundamentally a data center and colocation provider rather than a conventional retail web host. Its main services consist of Enterprise Colocation, Wholesale Colocation, Dedicated Internet Access, Cloud Connect, Data Center Interconnect and Remote Hands. Standard shared hosting and low-cost VPS packages are not central to the current business model. The focus is instead on enterprises, cloud platforms, hyperscalers, SaaS providers, financial organizations, government-related workloads and companies requiring large amounts of reliable computing infrastructure in Canada.

Enterprise Colocation accommodates deployments ranging from individual cabinets to cages and private suites. Customers can install and operate their own servers and networking equipment while eStruxture supplies the physical environment, electrical infrastructure, cooling, security and connectivity. Power density extends well beyond traditional enterprise colocation, with configurations reaching 125 kW per cabinet at newer facilities and even higher densities at selected AI-oriented locations.

The VAN-3 facility in Burnaby is particularly notable for high-density computing, with configurations supporting 150 kW+ per cabinet. The developing CAL-3 facility in Calgary is similarly designed for workloads requiring 125 kW+ per cabinet. These capacities make both locations suitable for GPU clusters, artificial intelligence, machine learning and HPC deployments that would be difficult to accommodate in older conventional colocation environments.

Wholesale Colocation addresses much larger deployments requiring dedicated data halls, substantial power allocations and customized infrastructure. It is suited to hyperscalers, large cloud providers, AI infrastructure operators and enterprises needing thousands of square feet of dedicated space. Electrical distribution, cooling, security and floor layouts can be adapted to individual deployment requirements.

Connectivity is another major part of the portfolio. Dedicated Internet Access provides symmetrical connectivity from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps, together with IPv4, IPv6, BGP routing, multihomed Internet connectivity and Standard or High Availability network handoffs. Multiple upstream and peering relationships reduce dependence on a single carrier.

Data Center Interconnect provides private connections between eStruxture facilities through a redundant metropolitan backbone using multiple 100 Gbps links. Layer-2 Ethernet connectivity is available from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps, primarily through EVPL, with EPL also available. Automatic path failover, support for jumbo frames up to 9,216 bytes and included cross-connects make the service useful for disaster recovery, distributed infrastructure and active workloads operating across multiple facilities.

Cloud Connect establishes private connectivity between colocated infrastructure and major public cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Connections are delivered using Megaport and Console Connect network fabrics and can range from 50 Mbps to 100 Gbps, depending on the provider and location. Individual cloud connections can be activated for short periods after the underlying port is established, including periods as short as one day, which is useful for temporary projects, migrations and variable cloud capacity requirements.

Customers can administer Cloud Connect connectivity themselves or leave its management to eStruxture. Private cloud connectivity avoids routing sensitive or performance-critical application traffic over the ordinary public Internet and can provide more predictable latency and routing.

The carrier-neutral approach is one of eStruxture's strongest advantages. Customers can choose among 50+ network providers instead of being locked into a single telecommunications carrier. Its connectivity ecosystem includes Arelion, Cogent, GTT, Tata Communications and Zayo, together with numerous Canadian regional and national network operators.

Canadian data residency is another important advantage. The infrastructure is concentrated entirely in Canada, making the platform particularly relevant for organizations that prefer or require data and physical systems to remain under Canadian jurisdiction.

The website is available in English and French, which is appropriate for a Montreal-headquartered company operating nationally across Canada. Commercial amounts are generally handled in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless a particular service order specifies otherwise.

😞 no response from the right party and no responsibility
My client having a billing issue. Contacted support and they said to contact sales. Asked for contacts info of the account manager and sale that we can work with, no response. Former sale associate got renewal contract singed and went silent when I asked about the billing issue.

This attitude means a few things: 1) Only cares about the contract, so be careful. 2) They dont care about the customers 3) For whatever reason, no one is willing to put a foot forward to help the customer with issue. This probably due to some unhealthy work environment. Either ways, be careful !
