EgenSajt is a Swedish web hosting, email and domain provider operating since 2007. The service is operated by EgenSajt Hosting AB, a Swedish company registered in 2011 and connected to the Hosting Nordic AB group. Gert Martin Börjesson is the company’s chief executive officer and a member of its board.

EgenSajt remains a relatively small hosting business, with a compact organization and a strong focus on Swedish individuals, small businesses, associations, web agencies and domain resellers. This smaller structure supports a more personal customer relationship, although larger companies requiring extensive enterprise escalation procedures may prefer a provider with a broader technical organization.

The product range includes Linux web hosting, email hosting, WordPress hosting, WooCommerce support, website-building tools, domain registration, DNS hosting, DynDNS, reseller accounts, SEO hosting and domain snapback services. VPS, cloud-server and dedicated-server plans are not part of the regular portfolio, so the service is primarily designed for websites, email and domain administration rather than independent server environments.

One of EgenSajt’s strongest features is its configurable hosting model. Instead of limiting customers to a few rigid packages, an account can be adjusted according to storage, email capacity, PHP processes, PHP memory, traffic allowance and the number of hosted domains. Resources can be increased or reduced as a website develops, with configurations extending to as much as 400 GB of SSD storage, ten PHP processes and 5,000 GB of monthly traffic.

The entry-level website account includes SSD storage, monthly traffic, WordPress support, a browser-based website builder and free SSL certificates. Email can be added separately, while the dedicated email service includes webmail, IMAP, POP, spam filtering, multiple addresses and mailbox storage. Premium email adds shared files, calendars, contacts and ActiveSync synchronization.

WordPress customers receive a useful selection of development and performance tools, including SSH, FTP, Git, Composer, WP-CLI, Varnish and Redis. An AI-assisted WordPress tool can help create themes, page content and images. WooCommerce and PrestaShop applications are also supported, making the platform suitable for small and medium-sized online stores that do not require a VPS.

The included website builder offers approximately 200 templates, guided setup and support for multilingual websites. Its standard version is appropriate for ordinary company websites, personal projects and informational pages. Online-store functions, blogging, social-media integrations and certain advanced content components require the premium version.

The free DNS service is another notable advantage. Customers can manage an unlimited number of domains, including domains registered elsewhere, without purchasing a hosting account. The service includes DynDNS, DNS templates and URL forwarding.

EgenSajt is an authorized registrar for .SE and .NU domains. Domain functions include DNSSEC, Registry Lock, internationalized domain names and reseller access. Recent Internetstiftelsen statistics placed EgenSajt among Sweden’s smaller active registrars, with approximately 138 new .SE registrations and 20 new .NU registrations during the reported 90-day period.

Additional specialist services include SEO hosting and snapback ordering for expiring .SE and .NU domains. SEO hosting can provide up to 30 IP addresses distributed across three C-class networks. The reseller program applies a 20% reduction to regular hosting, domain and related service prices. Resellers can manage customer accounts and may provide customers with direct panel access, while responsibility for first-line support remains with the reseller.

Swedish is the primary website language. English and Spanish interfaces are also available, although some sections retain Swedish labels or incomplete translations. Prices are primarily displayed in Swedish kronor, with EUR available through parts of the ordering system. Prices normally exclude VAT, and the storefront allows customers to switch to VAT-inclusive amounts.

The website remains functional on modern screens and provides access to a substantial amount of technical and commercial information. Navigation is divided among the main website, customer storefront, knowledge base and translated interfaces, which can occasionally produce inconsistent wording or duplicated information.
