The business started in 2016 under the BlastHosting name, adopted the ECXON brand in 2018, and continued through ECXON Datacenter Ltda, registered on March 27, 2019. Founder and CEO Mateus Marchetto Conci has been involved with the operation since its early years. Brazilian company records classify ECXON as a microenterprise with an estimated team of 3–9 employees, so this is a relatively small and specialized provider rather than a large international hosting group.

Its portfolio covers shared website hosting, domain registration, Linux and Windows VPS, dedicated servers, high-frequency game VPS, DDoS protection, and managed game-server hosting. Most services are hosted in Brazil, while selected VPS and dedicated-server products are available in Canada. This combination is especially relevant for Brazilian customers who need local billing in Brazilian reais, Portuguese-language assistance, domestic connectivity, and infrastructure optimized for gaming or latency-sensitive applications.

The shared hosting range follows a conventional cPanel model. Every package includes free SSL, anti-DDoS protection, unlimited traffic, email accounts, FTP access, databases, and hosting in Brazil. It includes older Intel Core i5, Xeon X5570, and Xeon E3 systems, together with more capable Intel Core i7 and i9 servers, Ryzen 5000 and Ryzen 7000 configurations, high-frequency Ryzen virtual servers, and large AMD EPYC machines with substantial RAM and NVMe storage. Available configurations extend from entry-level dedicated servers with 16 GB RAM to EPYC systems with hundreds of gigabytes of memory.

Several dedicated configurations still use legacy hardware, and some processor labels, duplicated specifications, and price relationships require attention. In certain cases, newer and considerably faster machines appear close to the price of older systems. Before payment, customers should confirm the exact CPU model, memory type, disk configuration, network-port speed, included IP allocation, anti-DDoS capacity, deployment location, setup cost, and estimated delivery time.

Game hosting remains one of ECXON’s strongest areas. Minecraft hosting is available with 1 GB to 10 GB RAM and includes SSD storage, MySQL access, a free subdomain, a server-management panel, and anti-DDoS Pro Game protection. SA:MP hosting supports packages from 30 to 500 slots, with instant activation, MySQL, a customized control panel, Brazilian hosting, and game-oriented DDoS filtering. MTA-SA hosting supports 50 to 500 slots and includes TCAdmin, MySQL, automatic activation, and anti-DDoS Pro Game protection.

The CA-GAME VPS packages provide high-frequency virtual servers with 2 GB to 8 GB RAM and unrestricted bandwidth. TeamSpeak 3 hosting also remains covered by the service agreement, although it is no longer one of the main products promoted through the ordering catalog.

Minecraft customers receive the contracted RAM and storage allocation, with processing available across as many as eight CPU cores running at up to 4.2 GHz. CPU usage does not have a fixed numerical restriction, although limits may be applied when one service negatively affects other customers on the same system. Minecraft and VPS traffic is limited to 5% of the total bandwidth available on the underlying dedicated server.

VPS services can use OpenVZ or KVM virtualization. Cryptocurrency mining, unauthorized public proxies, DDoS activity, malicious software, and applications that interfere with neighboring customers are prohibited. Certain servers may also require an ECXON monitoring agent that records CPU, RAM, disk, network, and availability information. Refusing to install this agent when requested can result in preventive suspension.

Customers remain responsible for maintaining their own backups. Periodic backups are performed only for OpenVZ services and are supplied as a courtesy without guaranteed retention or availability. Data recovery may also involve an additional charge. External backups are therefore essential for business websites, databases, game worlds, and any application where losing data would cause a serious problem.

The main website operates in Brazilian Portuguese, and product prices are displayed in BRL. The separate VPS management portal supports English, German, Persian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish. Some areas of the shopping cart still include English interface elements, so the Portuguese localization is not completely uniform.

The website has an older and largely utilitarian design, divided between the corporate area, the WHMCS client and ordering interface, and a separate VPS control portal.
