📄 Editorial Review

DrukHost is a Bhutanese web hosting and Internet-services brand operated by Green e-Solutions from Thimphu. The business has been active since 2006, giving it a long operating history in Bhutan's relatively small hosting market. Green e-Solutions was founded by Sangay Tshering, with a local team covering hosting, software development, web design and related technical services.

The company combines hosting with broader online-business services, including Shared Hosting, VPS, Domain Registration and Transfers, Business Email, Web Design, Web Application Development, Logo and Graphic Design, and Website Maintenance. This gives DrukHost a practical advantage for Bhutanese customers who prefer to work with one local provider for the domain, hosting account, website creation and ongoing technical maintenance.

Shared hosting runs on Linux servers with NVMe SSD storage. The Starter package includes 100 MB storage, 50 GB monthly bandwidth, five MySQL databases and one hosted domain. Economy increases this to 1 GB NVMe storage, 200 GB bandwidth and 15 MySQL databases. Deluxe provides 3 GB storage, 500 GB transfer, unlimited MySQL databases and support for up to five domains, while Premium increases capacity to 7 GB NVMe storage, 1 TB monthly bandwidth, unlimited databases and as many as ten hosted domains.

Hosting accounts use DirectAdmin, while Softaculous simplifies installation of popular web applications. Free SSL certificates are available with the hosting environment, covering the basic HTTPS requirement without requiring a separate commercial certificate for a standard website.

The VPS Hosting range provides considerably more server-level flexibility. These virtual servers use KVM virtualization, SSD storage, dedicated RAM, a dedicated IPv4 address and a 500 Mbps network connection. Entry configurations start around 1 GB RAM, one vCPU and 25 GB SSD storage with 1 TB monthly traffic, while larger configurations increase memory, CPU, storage and transfer allowances.

VPS service is available from United States, Singapore, United Kingdom and India locations. The servers are managed, making them more suitable for customers who need the isolation and additional resources of a VPS without wanting to administer every aspect of the operating system themselves.

Domain registration and transfer services are integrated into DrukHost's customer management environment. Customers can manage domain contacts, name servers, transfer authorization codes and security settings. Eligible domain transfers normally add another registration year, while domain theft protection helps prevent unauthorized transfers.

DrukHost also provides Business Email Hosting. A standard mailbox includes 5 GB storage together with spam and virus filtering, webmail access, POP/SMTP connectivity and support for mobile devices. A separate Google-based business email option provides 30 GB per user together with online productivity applications including Docs, Sheets and Drive.

Green e-Solutions also handles website creation and maintenance. Its development services include corporate websites, custom web applications, software development, graphics and logo work, along with ongoing maintenance for existing sites. Hosting and website development are separate services, allowing customers either to host an existing website or commission a complete project.

The website is primarily available in English, and no complete Dzongkha/localized version exists. Hosting prices are mainly expressed in Bhutanese ngultrum (BTN) using the familiar Nu. notation. The website follows a fairly traditional hosting-company layout rather than the highly automated storefront style used by many larger international cloud providers.
