📄 Editorial Review
DRI, legally registered as Digital Rural Informatique SAS, is a French hosting, cloud infrastructure and managed-services provider established in 2001. The company has evolved from a small hosting business serving individuals and associations into a technically advanced provider focused on sovereign infrastructure, managed Linux environments, DevOps, high-availability platforms and regulated workloads.Gaël Brisson and Louis Guyenot took over DRI in 2014, when the company employed eight people. An internal research and development department followed in 2017. The acquisition of SYLOÉ in March 2019 expanded the group’s capabilities in DevOps, public-cloud integration, automation and continuous delivery.
Employee participation became an important part of the company’s structure in 2022, when operational staff joined the shareholder base and employees obtained more than 20% of its capital. By 2024, DRI and SYLOÉ had grown to approximately 45 employees. The group expanded again in December 2025 through the acquisition of Greenspector, a French specialist in digital environmental performance and responsible mobile technology.
DRI is primarily suited to businesses, public institutions, software developers, healthcare organizations and customers that require French data residency, managed administration and clearly defined service commitments. Its activities include web hosting, managed virtual servers, dedicated servers, high-availability clusters, Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, colocation, domain registration, SSL certificates, DevOps, infrastructure consulting, application supervision and HDS-compliant hosting.
The company holds ISO 27001 certification for hosting, managed infrastructure and physical data-center operations. Its ISO 14001 certification supports an environmental-management framework covering energy consumption, equipment life cycles, waste processing and infrastructure efficiency.
The entry-level Cloud Web range uses isolated containers instead of placing every customer inside the same conventional shared-hosting environment. Each account receives allocated processor, memory and SSD resources, limiting the performance impact caused by neighboring websites. Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, databases, email accounts, backups, technical support and access to the EVA Pilote management platform are included.
Cloud Web Starter provides 10 GB of SSD storage, one vCore, 1 GB of RAM, three mailboxes, one database and one day of backup retention. Cloud Web Pro increases the allocation to 25 GB of SSD storage, two vCores, 2 GB of RAM, ten mailboxes, three databases and seven days of backup retention. Cloud Web Business includes 50 GB of storage, four vCores, 4 GB of RAM, 25 mailboxes, ten databases and 14 days of backup retention. Enterprise environments can reach 100 GB of SSD storage, six vCores, 8 GB of RAM, 50 mailboxes, unrestricted databases and 30 days of backup retention.
A separate mutualized hosting range remains available through the Perso, Asso, Pro, Pro+, Intenso and Intenso+ packages. These plans cover personal websites, associations, professional websites, ecommerce platforms and multisite projects. Higher packages include additional storage, larger database allowances, managed administration and faster incident handling.
The presence of both the older mutualized range and the newer container-based Cloud Web platform makes the product catalog less uniform than that of providers operating a single hosting generation. Customers should compare the resource model, administration level and backup policy of each product rather than selecting a plan only by storage capacity.
The DVS managed virtual server range provides isolated virtual resources with dedicated memory, allocated processors, RAID storage, unrestricted traffic, a public IP address, monitoring, backups and different administration levels. Configurations range from two processor cores and 4 GB of RAM to eight cores, 16 GB of RAM and 600 GB of storage. These are fully managed business servers rather than inexpensive unmanaged VPS instances.
The DPS dedicated server range uses physical systems equipped with Intel Xeon-class processors, RAID SSD storage, operating-system administration, security maintenance, monitoring and external backups. Configurations range from eight processor cores and 32 GB of RAM to 56 cores, 256 GB of RAM and four 1.92 TB SSDs. Linux is included, while certain Windows configurations require an individual quotation.
Dedicated clusters are available for business-critical applications that cannot depend on a single virtual or physical server. These architectures combine redundant nodes, replicated services, inter-data-center backups and optional disaster-recovery systems. The highest administration level includes intervention within 15 minutes and a one-hour restoration target under the applicable service agreement.
The Kubernetes Namespace Service, also known as KNS, supplies isolated namespaces on a fully managed Kubernetes platform. Standard allocations range from four processor cores and 8 GB of RAM to 32 cores, 128 GB of RAM and 4 TB of SSD storage. Persistent data uses Ceph storage, traffic is unrestricted and processor, memory and storage allocations can be expanded without requiring customers to administer the underlying cluster.
Dedicated Kubernetes environments are also available as single-site or multi-data-center clusters. These configurations are better suited to organizations requiring stronger resource isolation, custom architectures, resilience between locations or complete control over application orchestration.
GPU capacity can be integrated into Kubernetes environments through NVIDIA L40S accelerators equipped with 48 GB of GDDR6 memory. These resources support artificial-intelligence inference, model training, video processing, rendering and 3D workloads. Environments can use as many as eight L40S GPUs, with consumption-based billing instead of a conventional fixed hosting package.
DRI also handles domain registration and transfers, DNS administration, commercial SSL certificates, colocation, remote technical intervention, infrastructure audits, application monitoring, cloud migration and managed DevOps. Commercial certificates are available for customers requiring extended validation or specific warranty terms, while Let’s Encrypt certificates are included with Cloud Web hosting.
HDS-oriented services use a divided operational structure. Scaleway and OVHcloud handle the physical hosting activities associated with HDS activities 1 and 2, while DRI manages activities 3 through 6, including platform operation, infrastructure administration, backup and managed services. Healthcare architectures can include encryption, access logging, monitoring, business-continuity procedures, disaster recovery and French data residency.
The website and customer information are available in French. Prices are displayed in euros and normally exclude VAT. The interface is modern and functional, although EVA Pilote, Cloud Web, Produhost and older mutualized terminology coexist throughout the service catalog.
