*📜 Plan description
Entry Plan was the lower standard VPS configuration above Petit. It cost 513 JPY per month including tax with a 0 JPY contract administration fee. The resources were 1 GB memory and 50 GB disk capacity. Entry included one fixed global IPv4 address and one IPv6 address, and IP address addition was not available. Entry could choose Tokyo or Osaka as the data center and could select initial OS templates. It supported CentOS simple and blog templates, including a WordPress-oriented blog set with Apache, Perl, PHP, MariaDB, and WordPress. The engineer set was not available for Entry. Entry could change within the Entry, Standard, and Pro group, but not to Petit or Basic. It was eligible for backup and restore with separate ServersMan@Disk, remote mount beta, UbicName load balancing, and DNS editing. The first month was prorated from application date and later monthly charges were billed in arrears.
ServersMan@VPS was a low-cost virtual dedicated server service with root privileges, fixed global IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and plans ranging from lightweight to higher-capacity use. Entry, Standard, and Pro could select Tokyo or Osaka data center placement and could choose initial OS templates, while Petit was restricted to Tokyo and a fixed CentOS 7 PR template. The service allowed customer-managed server construction; mail and FTP accounts required the customer to build the required server software. CentOS simple, blog, and engineer templates covered Apache, Perl, PHP, MariaDB, WordPress, FTP, SMTP, POP or IMAP, BIND DNS, Tomcat, and Java depending on plan eligibility. Eligible non-Petit plans could use backup and restore with a separate ServersMan@Disk contract, remote mount beta, UbicName load balancing, DNS editing, A and AAAA records, and PTR records. Payment for VPS was credit card only, and ServersMan@VPS support was by email inquiry only, accepted 24 hours a day with responses during business hours or later depending on the inquiry. Entry, Standard, Pro, and Petit were announced as ended on 2025-10-31, so the plan is historical and no longer orderable.

📄 Editorial Review
Dream.jp operates under Dream Train Internet Inc. (DTI), one of Japan’s long-established internet service providers, founded on October 26, 1995. The company is based in Tokyo and belongs to FreeBit Co., Ltd. (freebit.com), which gives Dream.jp a stronger ISP, telecom, and network-services background than a typical web hosting brand.Dream.jp is best understood as a Japanese connectivity and internet-services provider rather than a modern shared hosting company. Its active service mix is focused on fiber internet, mobile/SIM services, WiMAX, email, online storage, and legacy server-related services. For hosting customers, the most relevant services are ServersMan@VPS, ServersMan@Disk, UbicName, and Ubic mail.
The main limitation is that ServersMan@VPS is no longer open as a normal VPS product for new signups. Older Entry, Standard, Pro, and Petit VPS plans ended in October 2025, while the later Basic 1GB and Basic 2GB VPS plans also have new applications closed. Existing users may still associate Dream.jp with inexpensive Japanese VPS hosting, but new customers should not treat it as an actively sold VPS provider today.
Historically, ServersMan@VPS was a self-managed Linux VPS platform with root access, fixed global IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, OS templates, DNS integration through UbicName, and optional backup use with ServersMan@Disk. Some legacy VPS plans allowed a choice between Tokyo and Osaka, while the Basic plans used AlmaLinux 8 and included common server components such as Apache, PHP, Perl, MariaDB, and WordPress templates.
Dream.jp also keeps value through ServersMan@Disk, an online storage product for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iPhone, iPad, and browser access. It supports file synchronization, file sharing, public links, access tickets, password controls, download limits, expiration dates, notifications, trash recovery, and file history. This is more of a cloud storage and backup product than a web hosting platform.
For domain and email functions, UbicName allows customers to use domains with DTI services, while Ubic mail provides an additional DTI mailbox or a way to keep a DTI email address after cancelling another DTI plan. Ubic mail includes 5GB mailbox capacity, POP3, IMAP4, SMTP, SSL mail access, SMTP authentication, webmail through MyMail, spam filtering, forwarding, virus checking, whitelist/blocking options, and folder sorting.
The service environment is strongly Japan-focused. The website is mainly in Japanese, prices are in Japanese yen (JPY), and products are generally built for domestic customers rather than international hosting buyers.
