Dream.jp Ubic Plan, JPY 220.00/mo. on Cloud Emails

Ubic Plan is DTI's member mail service for users who want to add a DTI email address, obtain a DTI email address when their main service does not include one, or keep only an email address after changing away from another DTI service. The plan issues one email address and is available through plan addition or plan change for DTI members; applications from people who do not use a DTI service are not currently accepted. The price is a tax-included 220 JPY monthly basic fee with a free contract administration fee and a benefit of up to two months free basic monthly fee. The free period covers the service start month or plan-change application month and the following month, after which the normal monthly fee applies; if the service is cancelled or changed within the same application month, the ordinary monthly fee applies. The mailbox capacity is 5 GB, converted here to 5000 MB, and storage period is generally unlimited, while spam and trash may be deleted after 30 days under the default spam-check setting. Sending and receiving capacity is 100 MB, or 20 MB when virus checking is enabled. The receiving servers are POP3 and IMAP4, the sending server is SMTP, and secure mail options include APOP, CRAM-MD5, POP over SSL, IMAP over SSL, SMTP over SSL, and SMTP AUTH. MyMail webmail allows browser-based mailbox access without complex mail client setup and can be used from web, iPhone, mobile phones, and supported browsers on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Free additional functions include email address change, mail authentication, spam check, basic forwarding, virus check, whitelist, spam blocking, conditional forwarding, and folder sorting in MyMail. The service is mail only and does not include internet connectivity. The email address format is a preferred string of 3 to 24 allowed characters followed by dream.jp, with rules for letters, numbers, hyphen, and period. DTI describes shared mail server usage rules, including a recommended receive-check interval of at least five minutes, a stop on new mail when mailbox capacity exceeds 5 GB, and restrictions against short-interval bulk sending to protect stable operation. Cancellation is handled from MyDTI; applications by the 25th close at month end, later applications close at the end of the following month, and no daily prorating is applied.
