📄 Editorial Review

DorukNet is one of Turkey's longest-established Internet, hosting, and infrastructure companies, with operations dating back to 1993. The company developed during the early commercial Internet period in Turkey and gradually expanded from corporate Internet connectivity into hosting, cloud computing, data-center services, managed infrastructure, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions. Its customer base includes around 52,000 corporate customers, while the organization operates with a team in the 51–200 employee range.

An important stage in DorukNet's corporate development came in 1999, when Ataç İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. added Doruk İletişim ve Otomasyon to its investment portfolio. The business subsequently expanded into a nationwide corporate ISP and infrastructure provider. Operations are currently conducted through Doruk İletişim ve Otomasyon Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., while Doruk Bilişim Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi is also used for online hosting, domain, and related service contracts.

DorukNet has a considerably broader service portfolio than a conventional shared-hosting company. Products include Domains, Linux and Windows Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Website Builder, Professional Email, Corporate Email, Hosted Exchange, Smarthost, DNS Hosting, Premium DNS, SSL Certificates, VDS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Rack Cabinets, Cloud Servers, Virtual Data Centers, Kubernetes, Backup, Disaster Recovery, IaaS, Monitoring, Object Storage, and Corporate Internet Connectivity.

Standard Web Hosting runs on SSD-based infrastructure and supports both Linux and Windows environments. Hosting accounts include DDoS protection, IPS protection, FTP and HTTP antivirus filtering, daily backups, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Both Plesk and cPanel environments are supported, while the current WebStart, WebEco, and WebPro packages primarily use Plesk.

WordPress Hosting uses a more specialized environment with LiteSpeed, caching, free SSL, backups, email, and a dedicated WordPress management interface. The entry-level package includes 10 GB storage, one WordPress website, and 25 email accounts. This line is more convenient for customers who prefer a simplified WordPress environment instead of managing a conventional multipurpose hosting account.

Reseller Hosting is suitable for agencies, developers, and hosting resellers. Accounts include WHM together with cPanel or Plesk administration, white-label operation, automatic backups, WHMCS integration, and the ability to create multiple customer hosting accounts. Businesses that outgrow reseller resources can move to VDS, dedicated servers, or cloud infrastructure without changing provider.

Email services form another substantial part of the portfolio. Professional Email covers conventional IMAP and POP mailboxes, while Hosted Exchange adds Outlook integration, ActiveSync, webmail, personal archives, and larger mailbox capacities. Corporate email packages are available for larger deployments, while Smarthost provides ETRN and MX Backup functionality so incoming mail can remain queued when a customer's own mail server or Internet connection is temporarily unavailable.

Domain services cover .tr, .com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr, and hundreds of international extensions. DorukNet is an ICANN-accredited registrar and supports domain registration, transfer, DNS administration, automatic renewal, and document-free .com.tr registration.

SSL options include DV, OV, EV, wildcard, and multi-domain certificates from established certificate authorities such as GeoTrust, Thawte, RapidSSL, and Sectigo. Premium DNS adds DDoS protection, DNSSEC, and failover, while security-related services also include web and network vulnerability scanning.

Infrastructure customers can choose between physical Dedicated Servers, VDS, cloud servers, and colocation. Colocation ranges from individual servers to complete high-power rack cabinets. The cloud portfolio extends to VMware Cloud Director virtual data centers, load balancing, Kubernetes, Backup as a Service, Disaster Recovery as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, and Monitoring as a Service. Veeam-based cloud backup, Acronis Cyber Protect, and S3-compatible object storage are also available.

This makes DorukNet particularly suitable for organizations that want Internet connectivity, public IP resources, hosting, servers, cloud infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery from a single Turkish provider. Corporate connectivity includes Metro Ethernet with speeds reaching 10 Gbps, XDSL, and MPLS VPN, together with static IP addressing, managed security, and redundant connectivity options.

The company operates primarily in Turkish, and no multi-language/localized version exists. This makes the service particularly well suited to the domestic Turkish market, although international customers requiring English documentation or an English self-service interface may find the environment less convenient.
