Donweb was one of the longest-standing hosting brands in Latin America, founded in 2002 in Rosario, Argentina by Guillermo Tornatore. The company grew from a regional web-services business into a broader Latin American hosting and cloud platform, with a strong focus on Spanish-speaking markets, localized storefronts, regional pricing, and a much wider product catalog than simple shared hosting.

A major ownership change happened when Web.com acquired Donweb, with the transaction completed on February 1, 2017. At that point, Donweb already had around 85–90 employees and was known as an important Latin American hosting and domain-registration provider. Later, Web.com became part of the broader Newfold Digital structure, and in June 2025 Web.com was integrated into Network Solutions. Today, donweb.com redirects to NetworkSolutions.com, so the original Donweb website should be treated as inactive / migrated, not as an independently operating hosting storefront.

Historically, Donweb stood out because of its regional approach. The platform was mainly Spanish-first, with country-specific versions and local currencies instead of forcing all customers into a single global USD-only catalog. Their commercial presence covered Argentina and other Latin American markets, with pricing shown in currencies such as Argentine pesos, Brazilian reais, Peruvian soles, euros, and USD depending on the selected country version.

Their old catalog included Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud / VPS-style hosting, Dedicated Servers, Email Hosting, Domain Registration, SSL Certificates, website builder tools, cloud application hosting, agency/reseller cloud environments, dedicated GPU servers, Proxmox-based dedicated infrastructure, and developer-oriented cloud tools. This made Donweb more of a regional digital-infrastructure platform than a narrow budget hosting provider.

The entry-level hosting services were built for quick website deployment, with SSL, backups, one-click applications, domain bundles, and simplified management. The cloud and dedicated-server services were more technical, with scalable resources, instant provisioning, optional control panels, and configurations aimed at developers, agencies, and businesses needing more control.
