DiMa.hu is a Hungarian web-hosting, domain-registration and server-infrastructure provider headquartered in Debrecen. Its hosting activity began in 2004, while DiMa.hu Kft. was incorporated in 2007. The company is led by Magos Tamás László and Dinkó Tamás Pál and operates with a relatively small team.

Its services are mainly aimed at Hungarian individuals, developers, agencies, small businesses and organizations that prefer local billing and Hungarian-language assistance. The main website and technical documentation are primarily available in Hungarian. The customer portal includes an English interface, and communication in English is possible, but a complete English version of the main website does not exist.

Prices are displayed in Hungarian forints and are generally listed without VAT. The portfolio covers shared hosting, WordPress hosting, SSD hosting, reseller hosting, domain registration, KVM VPS, dedicated servers, colocation, cloud storage, business email, SMTP delivery, newsletter services, SSL certificates, spam filtering, website development, a website builder, server monitoring, system administration, VPN configuration and backup services.

The shared-hosting range starts with the StartUp package, which includes 1 GB of SSD storage, five email accounts and support for several websites, databases and FTP users. Higher plans provide 3 GB, 5 GB, 10 GB, 20 GB or 30 GB of storage together with more mailboxes, SMTP access and additional development features.

The main hosting packages include SSD storage, selectable PHP versions, MySQL or MariaDB databases, free Let’s Encrypt certificates, malware checks and daily, weekly and monthly backups. Popular applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and phpBB can be installed without a separate setup fee, while the automated installer supports hundreds of scripts.

WordPress hosting uses the same shared infrastructure rather than a completely separate managed WordPress platform. The larger UltiMate package is better suited to demanding WordPress installations. Customers requiring more storage or development flexibility can choose the SSD Extra range, which includes PostgreSQL, CRON, Node.js, Python and unlimited traffic.

DiMa.hu is also an accredited registrar for .hu domains. Registration, transfer and renewal services are available for Hungarian domains as well as extensions such as .com, .eu, .net, .org and many newer generic or country-code domains. Ownership changes, quarantine recovery and other administrative operations are charged separately.

The VPS platform uses KVM virtualization. Entry configurations include one virtual processor core, 1 GB of RAM, 10 GB of storage, one fixed IP address and a 1 Gbit/s network connection. Larger standard packages provide up to four processor cores, 4 GB of RAM and 40 GB of storage, while customized servers can be configured with more memory, disk capacity and processor resources.

Available VPS operating systems include Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, CloudLinux and Windows, subject to the required license. Weekly backup is included with the standard VPS service, while daily backup, additional IP addresses, installation work and server administration are optional. ISPmanager licenses can also be added for customers who prefer a graphical server-management interface.

Dedicated servers use Dell and HP hardware and can be configured with different processors, memory capacities and storage combinations. The service includes rack space, power, cooling, infrastructure monitoring and hardware maintenance. Remote supervision is available continuously, and replacement components can normally be installed within one or two hours. Optional services include system administration, Zabbix monitoring, VPN configuration and managed migration.

Colocation is available for customers who already own their server hardware. Public standardized packages and detailed current prices are limited, making this service more appropriate for organizations prepared to request a customized quotation.

The reseller program allows developers and hosting agencies to create separate customer accounts and allocate individual control panels. Annual prepayment levels provide discounts of approximately 10%, 20% or 30%, depending on the deposited amount. A contract-based reseller arrangement without a fixed advance payment is also available.

The DiMaCloud service uses Nextcloud and combines online storage with file synchronization, sharing, calendar functions, task management and photo storage. Plans start with 10 GB of storage for five users, while larger packages provide up to 100 GB for ten users. Desktop and mobile synchronization applications are available for the main operating systems.

Business email and groupware are based on Mailcow, SOGo webmail, Rspamd filtering and ClamAV malware protection. The platform supports shared folders, contacts, calendars, CalDAV, CardDAV and ActiveSync. Some older documentation still refers to Zimbra, but Mailcow and SOGo form the current collaboration platform.

Separate SMTP packages are suitable for websites, online stores, internal applications and transactional messages. Smaller plans include hourly and monthly sending limits, while the highest package adds a dedicated IP address, newsletter delivery, message tracking and a separate management interface. The DiMail service is available for scheduled email campaigns and subscriber-list administration.

Additional services include commercial SSL certificates, SpamExperts filtering, WordPress malware removal, server monitoring, Linux and Microsoft system administration, website development, the DiMake no-code website builder and VPN configuration. This broad portfolio is useful for businesses that prefer to obtain domains, hosting, email and technical administration from a single Hungarian provider.
