Dewaweb is an Indonesian cloud hosting and cybersecurity company founded on September 9, 2014, by Edy Budiman, who continues to lead the business as Founder and CEO. Headquartered in Jakarta, the company serves more than 90,000 customers and has grown to approximately 51–200 employees.

Security has played an important role in the company’s development. In 2017, Dewaweb became the first Indonesian web hosting provider to obtain ISO 27001 certification. Its broader organization now combines hosting, virtual infrastructure, application deployment, managed cloud services, and cybersecurity through Dewaweb, DewaVPS, Dewacloud, and Dewaguard.

The website has a modern, responsive design and is available in Indonesian and English. Product prices are primarily displayed in Indonesian rupiah, making the service especially convenient for local customers, while infrastructure in Singapore and the United States also supports projects targeting international visitors.

The main product is Cloud Hosting, with plans covering personal websites, business projects, online stores, agencies, and resource-intensive applications. Its specialized services include WordPress as a Service, Kubernetes as a Service, managed MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases, Magento hosting, and Moodle learning-management infrastructure. Applications can scale without requiring developers to rewrite them for a proprietary programming framework.

Domain registration is another important part of the portfolio. Customers can register Indonesian and international domain extensions, transfer existing domains, configure DNS records, activate DNSSEC, lock domains, manage forwarding, and add WHOIS privacy where supported. Domain administration is integrated directly into the customer account.

The selection includes domain-validation, organization-validation, extended-validation, wildcard, multi-domain, code-signing, and email-security certificates. The Dewaguard cybersecurity division provides penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, red-team exercises, social-engineering testing, security engineering, managed security services, 24-hour security operations center monitoring, incident-response planning, compliance preparation, CISO-as-a-Service, and security training.

Other specialist services include AI-assisted website vulnerability scanning through SiteProtect and cloud VPS configurations for computer-based testing, schools, universities, online examinations, and Moodle learning platforms.

Registered nonprofit organizations can apply for free cloud hosting with at least 2 GB of storage, SSL protection, backups, security tools, and standard technical assistance. The program is suitable for qualifying charitable, educational, social, and community organizations.
