Datagix is an Algerian cloud, data-hosting, and IT-services company founded in 2014 by Hichem Boulahbel, who remains its CEO. Operating legally as SARL DATAGIX, the company primarily works with Algerian businesses that need locally managed infrastructure, business applications, cybersecurity services, and ongoing technical support. Its organization includes more than 20 system and network engineers, while its broader workforce is estimated at between 11 and 50 employees.

The company became an ARPCE-authorized cloud and data-hosting provider on February 14, 2024, under authorization number 02/RM/ARPCE/2024. This status gives Datagix additional relevance for Algerian businesses concerned with local data residency, regulatory compliance, and access to technical personnel based inside the country.

Datagix covers much more than conventional website hosting. Its portfolio includes shared hosting, cloud VPS, dedicated servers, .dz domain registration, SSL certificates, managed infrastructure, server administration, network integration, backup services, business telephony, Microsoft 365, CRM software, Odoo implementation, web development, and IT training.

The shared hosting range consists of Startup, Enterprise, and Expert packages. Startup includes 50 GB of storage, 20 professional email accounts, five MariaDB or MySQL databases, and unlimited traffic. Enterprise increases the allocation to 100 GB of storage, 50 email accounts, and ten databases. Expert provides 250 GB, 100 email accounts, and 25 databases.

All shared plans include anti-spam filtering, SSL protection, DDoS mitigation, and 24/7 assistance. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, TYPO3, and other applications can be installed through a simplified deployment system. Resources such as memory, RAM, and parallel processing can be adjusted when a website grows, with automatic notifications when a service approaches its current performance limit.

HTTP/2 is supported, and automatic backups make it possible to restore files from recovery points covering up to six previous days. The Expert package also includes antimalware scanning.

PHP support extends across modern releases and older PHP 5 and PHP 7 branches, with memory allocations reaching 768 MB. Legacy compatibility can help during application migrations, although production websites should still be upgraded to maintained PHP versions for security and performance reasons.

The VPS Cloud Algeria range includes Start, Medium, and Large configurations. Start provides two vCores, 6 GB RAM, and 150 GB SSD storage. Medium includes four vCores, 12 GB RAM, and 300 GB SSD storage, while Large provides eight vCores, 16 GB RAM, and 500 GB SSD storage.

VPS packages include dedicated resources, unlimited traffic, an externally configurable firewall, DDoS protection, SSL, and Plesk Web Host. Linux customers receive root access through SSH, while Windows servers are managed through Remote Desktop. Available operating systems include Ubuntu, Debian, openSUSE, CentOS, and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.

The minimum VPS commitment ranges from three to six months, depending on the selected service. Customers can move to a larger package during the contract when additional processing power, memory, or storage is required. Backup is available as a paid option, with the precise retention period and recovery schedule determined in the commercial agreement.

The dedicated server catalog covers Enterprise, Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium, and Storage configurations. Available memory ranges from 32 GB to 384 GB, while storage-oriented servers provide capacities of 24 TB, 48 TB, or 96 TB. Public connectivity ranges from 250 Mbit/s to 500 Mbit/s, depending on the selected server.

Each dedicated server includes exclusive hardware resources, unlimited incoming and outgoing traffic, RAID storage, firewall protection, DDoS filtering, static IPv4 connectivity, and IPv6 support. Customers can choose Linux, Windows, or a virtualization hypervisor, while Plesk Obsidian is available as an optional management interface.

Direct SSH or RDP access remains available for customers that need full administrative control. Routine service operations can also be handled through the Datagix customer area.

Several dedicated systems use older Intel Xeon generations, including the L5520, X5675, E5-2643 v2, E5-2643 v3, E5-2667 v3, and E5-2640. These processors can still provide practical storage, virtualization, and high-memory capacity at a controlled cost, but demanding applications should be benchmarked carefully before a long-term contract is signed. Customers requiring newer hardware should request current-generation options during the quotation process.

The domain service focuses mainly on .dz domain registration for Algerian companies and individuals. Registration assistance, domain configuration, data transfer support, and a basic website-building tool are available. Domain prices are supplied through a quotation rather than a public rate table.

The SSL range includes Starter, Business, Starter Wildcard, and Business Wildcard certificates. Customers can choose domain validation or organization validation, with options for individual hostnames or all subdomains. Encryption reaches 256 bits, while the business packages include stronger validation and anti-phishing protection.

SSL is already included with shared hosting and VPS packages. Separate certificates are therefore more relevant for external servers, corporate applications, or organizations requiring higher certificate validation.

Datagix is also an Algerian implementation partner for Microsoft 365. Business Basic, Apps, Standard, and Premium packages include combinations of Exchange email, Teams, Office applications, shared calendars, OneDrive storage, deployment assistance, and account configuration.

Exchange mailboxes provide capacities of up to 50 GB, while OneDrive includes 1 TB of cloud storage per user. Microsoft 365 Business Premium adds stronger identity protection, access control, and data-security functionality. Microsoft 365 information is hosted in European-standard facilities rather than inside the Algerian Datagix cloud environment.

The infrastructure-services division handles physical and virtual servers, Active Directory, mail servers, remote desktop environments, firewalls, clusters, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backup architectures. Projects can be deployed on-premises, in a hybrid model, or entirely in the cloud.

Monitoring can cover bandwidth, quality of service, application availability, processor utilization, server health, and Wi-Fi infrastructure. This makes Datagix suitable for businesses that need more than basic hosting and prefer one provider to manage several layers of their IT environment.

Managed IT services are aimed primarily at small and medium-sized businesses. The process normally starts with an infrastructure audit and technical documentation of the existing environment. Ongoing services can include 24-hour monitoring, workstation maintenance, remote administration, network management, unlimited helpdesk access, and a dedicated technical account manager.

Operational reports and performance dashboards can be reviewed through regular management meetings. Onsite intervention can also be incorporated into a managed-services agreement when remote administration is not sufficient.

Business telephony is available through 3CX (3cx.com). Datagix can install 3CX on customer premises or operate it from its Algeria-hosted cloud infrastructure. Deployment can include SIP trunks, mobile gateways, internal extensions, mobile applications, monitoring, maintenance, and round-the-clock support.

Integration is available with Algérie Télécom, Ooredoo, Djezzy, and Mobilis services. Standard, Pro, and Enterprise licensing options make the solution suitable for anything from a small office telephone system to a more complex multi-site communications environment.

The digitalization division handles corporate websites, e-commerce platforms, digital acquisition, and custom application development. Projects can use established content-management and commerce platforms or be developed as custom solutions. Odoo (odoo.com) implementation is divided into commercial management, human resources, production, web and e-commerce, accounting and finance, and fully customized packages.
