cyber_Folks Romania is one of the largest Romanian web hosting and domain providers, with a particularly strong position in the local .RO market. The present Romanian company dates from 2014, while its hosting heritage goes back to 2004, when MxHost was launched by Adrian Chiruță, who later became co-CEO of cyber_Folks Romania. This longer background is important because today's operation grew through the consolidation of several established Romanian hosting businesses rather than being built from a single recently launched brand.

The business operates legally as CYBER_FOLKS SRL, headquartered in Bucharest, and belongs to Cyber_Folks S.A., a Polish technology group listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange under ticker CBF. The group has operations in Romania, Poland, Croatia and Hungary. In Romania, cyber_Folks serves more than 50,000 active customers, manages approximately 200,000 domains, and employs a technical team that includes more than 40 system administrators, DevOps specialists and other infrastructure professionals.

Much of the company's Romanian scale comes from acquisitions and consolidation. Gazduire.ro and xServers joined the group in 2018, followed by MxHost, RoHost and TLH, while Hostvision was subsequently added and integrated into the same operation. This makes several common hosting-management tasks easier for customers without extensive technical experience.
