📄 Editorial Review

cyber_Folks is one of Poland's established web hosting and domain service providers, combining conventional website hosting with specialized WordPress and e-commerce platforms, virtual and dedicated servers, domain registration, website creation tools, and managed administration. The company primarily serves the Polish market, where its services are particularly relevant to individuals, web developers, agencies, online retailers, and small and medium-sized businesses.

The group's history began in 2002, when Jakub Dwernicki established the business that later developed into H8i and R22. A period of acquisitions and consolidation followed, bringing several Polish hosting and domain brands into a larger operating organization. The R22 holding company was established in 2016 and made its Warsaw Stock Exchange debut in 2017. Its principal hosting brands were consolidated under the cyber_Folks identity in 2020, while the holding company adopted the name cyber_Folks S.A. in 2023.

Corporate expansion has continued well beyond conventional web hosting. The group entered Romania in 2018 with cyberfolks.ro, including the acquisition of Gazduire.ro, and expanded its international communication technology business through Vercom's acquisition of MailerLite in 2022, a transaction valued at approximately PLN 400 million. Investments in Shoper, followed by the 2025 acquisition of PrestaShop and the addition of Sylius and BitBag, strengthened its e-commerce operations. The wider group surpassed 700,000 customers and operates across hosting, e-commerce software, and digital communication services. This group-wide customer figure should not be confused with the number of accounts hosted directly on cyberfolks.pl.

The company operates through cyber_Folks S.A., headquartered in Poznań, Poland. Its principal commercial website is Polish-language and uses the Polish zloty (PLN) for pricing. Although the wider organization has international operations and English-language corporate information, cyberfolks.pl remains primarily oriented toward Polish-speaking customers. This may present a language barrier for international users seeking English-language hosting administration and assistance. The website has a modern, responsive layout, detailed technical information, extensive help documentation, and an actively maintained blog, with new articles published in October 2026.

The principal Shared Web Hosting range consists of cyber_START!, cyber_RUN!, cyber_SPRINT!, and cyber_JUMP!. These Linux-based packages combine SSD-cached storage, LiteSpeed web technology, HTTP/3, PHP, MySQL databases, and configurable email hosting. They range from simple personal websites to accounts suitable for multiple business websites. The smallest plan provides 5 GB of storage, 250 GB monthly transfer, three hosted domains, five MySQL databases, and three mailboxes. Higher plans increase storage to 30 GB, 80 GB, and 250 GB, with unrestricted advertised data transfer and more generous database, email, and website allowances.

Resource allocations are an important part of the shared hosting structure. Depending on the package, customers receive between one and two CPU cores and between 1 GB and 3 GB RAM. The number of simultaneous PHP, CGI, or scheduled processes increases from 10 to 40 across the range. SSH access begins with cyber_RUN!, while cyber_START! is intended for simpler website administration without SSH. Daily website and database backups, antivirus protection, and a web application security layer improve suitability for ordinary production websites. File-count limits of one or two million files also apply, depending on the selected package.

The specialized WordPress Hosting family uses faster NVMe storage rather than the SSD-cached configuration of standard shared hosting. Five plans—wp_START!, wp_RUN!, wp_SPRINT!, wp_BUILD!, and wp_JUMP!—provide between 2 GB and 40 GB of space and allow between one and 25 hosted domains. WordPress-oriented features include Redis caching, LiteSpeed Cache, automated installation, staging and management tools, and optimized database handling. Website files are backed up daily and databases every six hours, with backups retained for up to 28 days. The WP AutoBuilder technology also supports AI-assisted website creation, making the service useful for customers who want to build a WordPress site without starting entirely from scratch.

For online retail, WooCommerce Hosting is tailored to stores using WordPress. Four packages offer 5 GB, 10 GB, 40 GB, or 80 GB of NVMe storage, with suggested store sizes ranging from 500 to 5,000 products. Redis caching, PHP resource allocations, store-oriented configuration, and recovery facilities help distinguish these packages from general-purpose hosting. The higher tiers are appropriate for retailers needing more database activity, administrative resources, and capacity for larger catalogs. These configurations are particularly relevant to businesses running WooCommerce stores that require a predictable environment for both customer-facing pages and administrative operations.

PrestaShop Hosting is another important part of the company's e-commerce portfolio. The ps_START!, ps_RUN!, ps_SPRINT!, and ps_JUMP! packages provide 5 GB, 10 GB, 30 GB, and 80 GB of NVMe storage, respectively. They combine Redis caching, optimized PHP and database resources, security features, and application-specific support. Database backups are scheduled every six hours and file backups daily. Additional product families, including ps_UP!, ps_GO!, and ps_FLY!, extend the options available to online retailers requiring different capacities and service arrangements.

For agencies and businesses managing customer websites, Reseller Hosting is available through reseller_IN, reseller_UP, reseller_GO, reseller_FLY, and reseller_SKY, alongside separate Webas reseller packages. These services allow customers to manage multiple websites and hosting subscriptions, separate client accounts, and organize recurring hosting operations without investing in dedicated physical servers. The reseller products are particularly useful for web design studios, maintenance companies, and developers who want to combine technical administration with their own client billing.

The VPS Hosting portfolio includes several approaches to virtual server administration. Self-managed Linux virtual servers provide full root access and KVM virtualization, allowing customers to install applications, configure the operating system, and deploy custom software environments. The main vroot_START! through vroot_JUMP! range scales from one CPU core, 2 GB RAM, and 30 GB NVMe storage to eight cores, 12 GB RAM, and 160 GB NVMe storage. These machines are suitable for developers, custom applications, database services, automation projects, and administrators who prefer direct control over their software stack.

Managed VPS Hosting, including the vadmin range, is intended for customers who want professional system administration included. The four principal packages offer between 4 GB and 16 GB RAM, one to eight CPU cores, NVMe storage, and the DirectAdmin hosting control panel. These services combine a prepared web and email environment with monitoring, system maintenance, and assistance from administrators. Backup and security entitlements differ between tiers, making the managed plans more appropriate for businesses that require predictable administration but do not yet need dedicated physical hardware.

There are also Windows VPS packages with Windows Server licensing, KVM virtualization, and remote administration capabilities. Customers can choose between 2 GB and 16 GB RAM and between 50 GB and 200 GB SSD storage. These products are self-managed and suitable for software requiring a Windows Server environment, including certain business applications and development platforms. The service permits one RDP session, an important limitation for customers considering a Windows VPS for shared remote desktop usage. Linux VPS configurations for container applications and ready-to-use n8n Automation environments further expand the virtual server offering.

The Dedicated Server family provides exclusive physical hardware rather than shared virtualization resources. Configurations extend from Intel Xeon systems with mirrored SSD storage to higher-capacity AMD EPYC machines equipped with substantial RAM and NVMe arrays. Root-managed servers give customers complete control over the operating system and application stack, while managed dedicated configurations add system administration, monitoring, security maintenance, and optional support packages. These products are better suited to demanding applications, larger databases, high-traffic online stores, and organizations that require dedicated computing capacity.

Beyond server infrastructure, Domain Registration remains a central service, covering Polish national domains and popular international extensions. Domain management includes DNS record administration, transfer handling, renewal management, and access to a geographically distributed Anycast DNS network. SSL Certificates cover domain-validated, organization-validated, extended-validation, wildcard, and multidomain requirements. Free Let's Encrypt certificates are also supported in applicable hosting configurations, although automated certificate handling and certain commercial SSL products may involve additional services or charges.

The company's broader product portfolio includes cyber_Storage, a remote storage service supporting backup and file transfer workflows; the AI-assisted _now Website Builder; WP_assist for WordPress management; _rank for search visibility monitoring; and _partners, a network connecting customers with specialist service providers. Together, these products allow businesses to combine hosting, website creation, e-commerce, email, security, remote storage, and digital business tools within the same commercial ecosystem.
