Creanova, legally Oy Creanova Hosting Solutions Ltd., is a Finnish hosting and infrastructure provider headquartered in Helsinki. The company has operated since 1996, while its own hosting and data-center platform has been running since 2006. This long operating history is complemented by infrastructure that goes well beyond ordinary shared hosting, including virtual servers, cloud infrastructure, dedicated hardware, GPU servers and physical colocation.

The service portfolio covers Shared Hosting, VPS, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, GPU Servers, Colocation, Domain Registration, Corporate Email, SSL Certificates, VPN, backup capacity and server administration. Creanova is therefore suitable both for regular website owners and for technically advanced customers requiring root access, custom networking, BGP or rack space.

Shared Hosting uses SSD storage and cPanel/WHM. Packages range from small accounts intended for a single website to considerably larger plans supporting up to 100 websites. Unlimited traffic, email accounts, FTP access, MySQL databases, DNS management, webmail, antivirus, antispam, cron jobs and daily backups are available across the range, while larger packages also provide SSH access. Let's Encrypt SSL is included from Web #2 upward, and qualifying annual packages can include a free .com, .net, .org or .ru domain.

Some shared-hosting specifications remain dated, particularly the PHP information, which references releases ending with PHP 7.3 and, in several plan specifications, even older versions. Anyone planning a modern WordPress, WooCommerce or PHP application should confirm availability of current PHP 8.x releases before migrating an existing project.

VPS Hosting is available with KVM, OpenVZ and XEN virtualization. Root access, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, VNC access and separate backup capacity are part of the VPS environment. ROOT VPS configurations use Xeon Gold or Platinum processors together with NVMe or SAS 12G SSD storage. Entry packages begin at approximately €4 per month, while larger configurations scale to 16 CPU cores, 64 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage. Network speeds range from around 100 Mbps on smaller plans to 500 Mbps on higher configurations.

VPS services are primarily self-managed after deployment, which makes them better suited to customers comfortable administering their own operating system. Migration assistance is available, while customers who need ongoing technical management can purchase server-administration services separately.

Cloud VPS is the more resilient virtual-server option. It uses KVM virtualization, shared cloud storage, hot migration and automatic failover between compute nodes. This architecture is particularly useful for workloads where the failure of a single physical virtualization node should not require rebuilding the virtual server.

CloudVPS starts at approximately €19.50 per month, with an entry configuration including 6 CPU cores, 16 GB ECC RAM, 160 GB SAS 12G SSD storage, 200 GB of backup capacity, unlimited traffic and a 250 Mbps network connection. CPU, memory, storage, IPv4 addresses and backup space can be expanded independently. Faster 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps unlimited network connections are also available as additional options.

Dedicated Servers are hosted in Helsinki, Finland and include permanent hardware-level remote-management capability through DELL DRAC or HP iLO, depending on the server platform. Customers receive full root access, IPv6 connectivity and separate backup storage. The hardware range extends from economical Xeon systems to newer Intel Xeon E-series and Silver, Gold and Platinum configurations.

Storage options include enterprise SSD and SAS arrays, frequently combined with hardware RAID. Depending on the selected hardware and network configuration, connection speeds can reach 10 Gbps. Dedicated-server pricing begins at approximately €70 per month, while larger systems provide substantially more CPU capacity, hundreds of gigabytes of ECC memory and multi-terabyte storage configurations.

A dedicated GPU Server range is also available. These systems combine dual Xeon processors with graphics processors such as RTX 4070 Ti Super, RTX 4090, RTX 5070 and RTX 5080-class hardware. They expand Creanova's usefulness beyond traditional website hosting into GPU computing and other workloads requiring dedicated accelerator resources.

Colocation is provided inside Creanova's own Helsinki data center. The entry configuration starts with 1U of rack space, approximately 350W of power, two IPv4 addresses, an IPv6 /112 allocation, 30 TB of traffic and a 1 Gbps network port. Larger configurations extend through several rack units to full 42U racks.

Additional colocation options include extra electrical power, IPv4 blocks, larger IPv6 allocations, BGP sessions, routers and firewalls. Installation of the customer's server in the rack is included, and hardware can also be sourced from European or US suppliers before deployment in Helsinki.

Creanova supports customers operating their own network resources through BGP. They can announce their own prefixes and ASN or use Creanova's autonomous system. The network operates as AS51765 / CREANOVA-AS, providing considerably greater routing flexibility than is normally available from a conventional shared-hosting or VPS reseller.

Corporate Email Hosting includes encrypted IMAPS, POPS and SMTPS connectivity, SSL-secured webmail, antivirus, antispam, calendars, contacts and task functionality. Packages can accommodate multiple domains and numerous mailboxes, with daily backup included. Zimbra-based email infrastructure is also part of the service offering.

Domain Registration includes Finnish and international extensions such as .fi, .com, .net, .org, .eu, .info, .biz and .cc. DNS administration is provided without an additional fee, and WHOIS privacy is available for extensions that support it. Selected 12-month hosting, VPS and server purchases can include registration of an eligible domain.

SSL Certificates include free Let's Encrypt certificates with eligible hosting packages as well as commercial PositiveSSL and Sectigo certificates.

The VPN service is hosted in Finland and uses OpenVPN, with support for P2P and BitTorrent traffic, DNS-leak protection and a no-activity-log policy. IPSec/IKEv2 and WireGuard solutions can also be arranged for customers requiring other VPN protocols.

Paid server administration gives customers access to administrators experienced with Linux, FreeBSD, Windows and network equipment. Tasks can include troubleshooting, migrations, operating-system installation, monitoring and network configuration. Packages range from a few administration hours each month to larger arrangements with 24/7 availability.
