📄 Editorial Review

CooliceHost is a Bulgarian hosting provider operated by Webhosting Services Ltd, with headquarters in Sofia. Its technical background dates to server-management work in 2005, while the CooliceHost hosting business was established in 2012 and expanded into Nginx-based cPanel hosting in Europe in 2013. DirectAdmin became increasingly important from 2019, followed by private-cloud infrastructure in 2020. The Bulgarian operating company Webhosting Services Ltd was registered in 2022, with Banko Iliyanov Stoyanov serving as manager and sole owner.

The company concentrates on Linux hosting for webmasters, agencies, developers, online stores, resellers, and customers requiring more resources than conventional entry-level shared hosting. Its main services include Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Semi-Dedicated Cloud Hosting, managed Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS), and professional server administration. Domain registration and Windows hosting are not part of its main product range.

CooliceHost operates a sizeable hosting platform for an independent provider, with approximately 20 host machines, 452 vCPU cores, around 1.8 TB of RAM, and roughly 24 TB of SSD-based storage. AMD Ryzen and EPYC processors are extensively used together with enterprise SSD and NVMe drives, ECC memory, ZFS storage, redundant power systems, multiple network paths, and DDoS-filtered connectivity.

Web Hosting is available from multiple physical and GEO-IP locations. Accounts generally include DirectAdmin, SSD or NVMe storage, free SSL certificates, unmetered bandwidth, remote backups, DDoS mitigation, web application firewall protection, malware scanning, databases, email accounts, cron jobs, multiple PHP versions, Node.js, and Python support. Resource allocations vary between locations, giving customers the possibility to select infrastructure closer to their visitors.

The principal shared-hosting range includes Mini, Webmaster, Business, and Ultimate packages. Storage normally ranges from about 10 GB to 40 GB on enterprise NVMe or SSD systems, while Business and Ultimate accounts receive higher CPU and memory limits. This structure works particularly well for customers who need a managed environment without moving immediately to a VPS.

Reseller Hosting uses LiteSpeed Enterprise, CloudLinux/LVE account isolation, enterprise NVMe storage, DirectAdmin, Redis, LiteSpeed Cache, WordPress management and staging, Softaculous, private nameservers, white-label hosting, and overselling. Resellers can create an unlimited number of hosting accounts according to the resources of the selected package. PHP selectors cover both older and modern PHP branches, while Node.js and Python are available for customers needing application-hosting capabilities beyond standard PHP websites.

The Cloud Hosting range serves as CooliceHost's semi-dedicated platform. These packages provide substantially more CPU and memory than regular shared hosting while retaining full management and DirectAdmin. LiteSpeed Enterprise, Redis, free SSL, WAF protection, antivirus protection, unmetered bandwidth, and multiple-domain hosting are included. Virtual machines are replicated to standby infrastructure at intervals of approximately five to ten minutes, providing an additional layer of resilience and recovery capability.

The Virtual Dedicated Server range is built on Proxmox and combines full root access with managed administration. Customers receive server monitoring, DDoS protection, remote backups, system administration, and DirectAdmin Personal Plus. cPanel and Plesk can be selected as paid alternatives. Apache, Nginx, and OpenLiteSpeed can be used without additional web-server licensing, while LiteSpeed Enterprise is available when a commercial LiteSpeed license is required.

CooliceHost also provides Server Management for dedicated servers and virtual machines, including systems hosted with other providers. Supported Linux platforms include AlmaLinux, CloudLinux, Debian, and Ubuntu. Administration work can cover installation, security hardening, migrations, troubleshooting, updates, database management, backup systems, virtualization, and storage. Technologies supported include DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk, Enhance, CloudPanel, Proxmox VE, ZFS, Ceph, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, OpenLiteSpeed, and Node.js.

The website is available in English, Bulgarian, German, and Spanish, making the service reasonably accessible to customers across several European markets. Pricing is primarily expressed in EUR, while USD is also used in parts of the billing system.
