The company operates as COOLHOUSING s.r.o. and concentrates on server infrastructure rather than conventional mass-market website hosting. The company operates its own public data center in Prague, Czech Republic, with three server rooms, while a second facility in Brno operates in private mode and accommodates virtualization infrastructure used for VPS services. Coolhousing has more than 2,000 professional servers, connectivity reaching 40 Gbps, more than two decades of industry experience and ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.

Virtual Private Servers use Proxmox VE virtualization, AMD EPYC processors and NVMe SSD storage. Both Linux and Windows configurations are available. Linux VPS plans start with 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 25 GB NVMe storage, while larger plans increase CPU, memory and storage without requiring customers to migrate to an entirely different hosting environment. Dedicated Servers provide physically isolated hardware while Coolhousing takes care of power, cooling, connectivity and hardware servicing. Entry configurations include AMD Ryzen-based systems with 64 GB RAM, dual SSD storage and 1 Gbps connectivity. Larger deployments can use Rack Housing with lockable 12U, 20U and 42U cabinets. External storage is available independently from local server disks. It uses enterprise storage configured with RAID 10 and supports FTPS, SMB and NFS. Capacity ranges from 25 GB to 1 TB, making it particularly practical for backup storage and workloads where very low disk latency is not essential.

Coolhousing also rents Synology and QNAP NAS systems. NAS rental includes network connectivity, electricity, hardware maintenance and DDoS protection, while eligible hardware can also qualify for the €3 purchase option after 24 months.

Security is more comprehensive than at a typical small hosting provider. Basic Anti-DDoS protection is included with major server products, while advanced mitigation uses a multi-platform scrubbing infrastructure based on Arbor Networks and BGP FlowSpec.
