ContraTeam is a Serbian web hosting and server provider based in Bor. The business started in 2007 as a small web design studio and computer repair service. Web hosting, domain registration and audio streaming followed in 2008, together with game-server hosting. The game-hosting activity ended near the close of 2011, allowing the company to concentrate on web hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, streaming and related infrastructure services.

ContraTeam DOO Bor was registered on March 14, 2019. Dušan Filiferović is the sole owner and director and has been involved with ContraTeam since its early years. The company remains a small local provider, with three employees reported for 2025. Its profile is closer to a specialized Serbian hosting company than to a large international hosting group.

The product range covers Domains, Shared Hosting, Business Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Cloud Servers, Dedicated Servers, Managed Servers, Audio Streaming, Software Licenses, Server Management and Website Migration. An affiliate program is also available. The overall service is well suited to individuals, Serbian companies, developers, agencies and hosting resellers that prefer local support, domestic invoicing and prices in Serbian dinars.

Standard SSD Web Hosting runs on cPanel and includes unmetered traffic, email hosting, MySQL databases, FTP accounts, subdomains, DNS management, free SSL certificates, daily backups, CloudLinux account isolation, LiteSpeed, Softaculous and selectable PHP versions. PHP releases from 5.6 through 8.5 are available, which gives customers enough flexibility to maintain older applications while also supporting modern PHP projects.

The entry-level Start package includes 4 GB of SSD storage and one website. Junior, Medior and Senior progressively increase both storage and the number of websites. Medior includes 20 GB of SSD storage and supports up to eight websites. Daily backup copies are retained for as long as 30 days, and customers can restore complete accounts, individual websites or specific files.

Business SSD Hosting provides higher CPU, RAM and storage allocations than regular shared hosting without requiring the customer to administer a server. These packages also include a dedicated IPv4 address, which can help separate outgoing email reputation from that of a shared mail server. The range begins with 25 GB of SSD storage, 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM and three websites, while the larger Progressive package includes 50 GB of storage and support for six websites.

WordPress Hosting uses a WordPress-optimized LiteSpeed platform with cPanel, one-click installation, WordPress Manager, direct administrator access, LiteSpeed Cache, daily backups and free SSL. Customers also receive access to a large collection of premium WordPress themes and plugins. WP Start includes 15 GB of SSD storage for two websites, WP Advanced provides 50 GB for three websites, and WP High-End includes 80 GB for up to eight websites.

The WordPress packages have clearly defined limits for CPU, RAM, concurrent processes, disk I/O, IOPS and inodes. This makes them easier to compare than many generic "optimized WordPress" services where the actual resource limits remain unclear.

The Reseller Hosting service uses WHM for reseller administration and separate cPanel accounts for individual customers. Packages include private nameservers, overselling support, free SSL certificates, daily backups and WordPress management functions. The main plans provide 50 GB of storage with 20 cPanel accounts, 100 GB with 50 accounts, or 200 GB with 100 accounts.

ContraTeam assists the reseller with the hosting platform, while the reseller remains responsible for supporting their own customers. This arrangement is suitable for agencies, designers and smaller hosting businesses that want to sell hosting under their own brand without operating physical infrastructure.

VPS Hosting is based on KVM virtualization and NVMe storage. Configurations range from 2 GB to 32 GB RAM and include full root access, one IPv4 address, initial server setup and a choice of Linux operating system. Available distributions include AlmaLinux, Debian, Fedora, Rocky Linux and Ubuntu. Control-panel licenses are optional and are not included in the standard VPS price.

The separate Cloud Server range also uses KVM virtualization but adds redundant storage and compute infrastructure. A virtual server can restart on another physical node when hardware fails, reducing the impact of individual node problems. Packages begin with 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 20 GB SSD storage and 20 TB traffic, while larger configurations reach 32 GB RAM with substantially more processor and storage capacity.

Dedicated Servers are hosted in Germany and use AMD or Intel processors, NVMe storage and software RAID. Current configurations range from 12-core servers with 64 GB RAM and mirrored 512 GB NVMe drives to 96-core machines with 128 GB or 256 GB RAM.

Each dedicated server includes one IPv4 address, a /48 IPv6 subnet, root access, rescue access, basic DDoS protection and 100 GB of backup space inside the data center. Available hardware and setup fees can change, so final configurations are confirmed during ordering.

Dedicated servers are unmanaged by default. Customers can add cPanel, DirectAdmin, server administration or a complete managed-server package. Integrated managed configurations combine dedicated hardware with cPanel, CloudLinux, Softaculous, LiteSpeed, Imunify360, monitoring and JetBackup storage. These plans are more suitable for agencies and companies that need dedicated resources without handling operating-system maintenance, updates, security and hosting-stack administration themselves.

Domain registration is available for more than 350 extensions. Domains are registered in the customer’s name, while .com and .rs registrations are normally completed within 24 hours after payment. WHOIS privacy is included for many generic extensions, while national Serbian domain requirements depend on the registrant type and selected extension.

The Audio Streaming service uses Shoutcast and Centova Cast. Packages support up to 100 simultaneous listeners and include AutoDJ storage, traffic allowances and bitrate options of 64, 128 or 256 Kbps. This is a practical service for internet radio stations, traditional radio operators and other audio-streaming projects that do not want to maintain their own streaming server.

ContraTeam also rents cPanel, DirectAdmin, CloudLinux and Softaculous licenses. A software license by itself does not include server administration or technical support. Customers that need installation, troubleshooting, optimization or continuous management can purchase separate server-maintenance services.

Free migration is available with hosting and server packages. Websites, files, databases, email accounts, applications and configuration data can be transferred from the previous provider. The migrated services are checked before the customer completes the DNS change.

The commercial service is primarily available in Serbian, and products are priced in Serbian dinars (RSD). This local orientation is convenient for customers in Serbia, particularly businesses that need local invoicing, VAT-inclusive prices and Serbian-language communication.
