📄 Editorial Review

CONNECT is a Georgian digital-services and hosting company established in 2009, with CONNECT LLC registered on March 26, 2009 in Tbilisi. The business combines hosting infrastructure with website development, UI/UX, mobile development, e-commerce, SEO, digital marketing, branding, graphic design, and long-term technical support. Aleksandre Otiashvili is the director and owner of CONNECT LLC, while the company operates with a relatively compact team serving both hosting customers and custom development projects.

Hosting is an important part of CONNECT's business rather than simply an accessory to its development services. The portfolio includes Shared Hosting, VPS/VDS, Colocation, and System Administration, which makes it possible to keep website development, server infrastructure, and ongoing technical maintenance with the same provider.

Shared Hosting is suitable for blogs, company websites, and small to medium online projects. Accounts include a hosting control panel, backups, and technical assistance. The service is a practical fit for customers that do not need to administer an operating system or maintain their own virtual server.

VPS/VDS provides dedicated allocations of processor, memory, and storage resources together with full root access. This is the more appropriate option for applications requiring custom packages, specific software versions, dedicated server configurations, databases, APIs, development environments, or workloads that have outgrown conventional shared hosting.

Colocation is available for customers that own physical server hardware and need a professional environment with uninterrupted electrical power, cooling, continuous monitoring, connectivity, and technical assistance. CONNECT can complement this with System Administration, covering server monitoring, software updates, security configuration, and backup management.

There are several technical details that should be confirmed when selecting a hosting package. Current Shared Hosting uses DirectAdmin, while the hosting terms still contain references to cPanel-based hosting. Backup conditions also differ between the hosting specification and the contractual minimum: daily backups are associated with Shared Hosting, while the terms establish a weekly Sunday backup schedule with copies retained for one month. For business-critical applications, the exact control panel, backup frequency, retention period, and restoration conditions should therefore be included in the service agreement.

The hosting infrastructure also maintains a connection with Rednet. CONNECT LLC is the legal service provider, while its hosting terms retain references to the Rednet customer portal and account environment used for hosting and virtual-server administration.

CONNECT supports both Georgian and English, which is useful for local businesses as well as international customers requiring Georgian infrastructure or technical assistance.
