Founded in 1998 and with a robust experience in the hosting industry, Colossus Cloud works on in-house infrastructure offering flexibility, reliability and performance. They are an IaaS provider and they own and manage their infrastructure, as well as outsource other companies.

Infrastructure provided by Colossus Cloud runs on SSD drives generated by Ceph. Their enterprise-level hypervisors are made of multiple layers of redundancy to prevent failure. Moreover, for an even stronger guarantee of failure prevention, they are also powered by MLAG, MC-Lag or vLAG so they instantly switch to a new network in case of any detected failure.

Colossus Cloud is particularly oriented in designing high-end hosting solutions, so customers will find here VPS servers and dedicated servers. Shared hosting solutions are not available here.

VPS servers run on both Linux and Windows and include SSD drives. Each of these has two network interfaces with one IP for public access and another one for private IP/IP subnet, improving the quality of apps, such as Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB or Hadoop. Servers are scalable, meaning that customers have the possibility to personalize their servers.

Dedicated servers are bare metal servers running on cloud infrastructure and Intel scalable processors. These operate on dual 10 gigabit fiber connections to Colossus Cloud network and improve the functioning of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
