Colocall is a Ukrainian data-center and cloud infrastructure provider founded on March 23, 2000, by a team led by Sergey Gulchuk. The first customer was connected in August 2000, and the business grew around professional data-center infrastructure rather than conventional mass-market shared hosting. The company has remained relatively compact, with LinkedIn listing an employee range of 11–50 people.

Its current portfolio covers Cloud VPS/VDS, Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS), Private Cloud, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Kubernetes as a Service, Backup Space, Cloud Disk/STaaS, DDoS Protection, Internet Connectivity, RIPE/LIR services and IP address rental. Infrastructure can be deployed in Ukraine or within the European Union, giving customers the option of keeping workloads local or placing them in an EU environment.

The Cloud VPS/VDS platform uses hardware virtualization and can be configured with custom CPU, RAM, HDD, SSD or NVMe storage, public IP addresses, firewall policies, backup capacity and snapshots. Rather than limiting customers to a small number of fixed VPS plans, Colocall allows resources to be assembled around the requirements of a particular application. Standard provisioning is generally completed within about one hour.

Cloud storage is built around redundant infrastructure and maintains two copies of customer data. This reduces the impact of individual disk or storage-component failures and makes the environment more suitable for business workloads than a basic single-node VPS configuration. Virtual networking and configurable I/O performance are also available.

Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) is designed for larger environments containing several virtual machines or more complex application stacks. Customers can combine CPU, RAM, HDD, SSD, NVMe, VLANs, public IP addresses, firewall rules, bandwidth, backup capacity and limits for the number of virtual hosts. Provisioning normally takes up to one business day.

Private Cloud Infrastructure adds dedicated physical computing nodes reserved for one customer. It combines private compute capacity with virtual machines, local or cloud storage, network connectivity, backup and replication. Additional physical servers can be incorporated to improve fault tolerance, while monitoring, statistics and reporting systems can be integrated for organizations that require greater operational visibility.

The Dedicated Server range includes Intel Xeon E5 v3/v4, Intel Xeon Gold and Platinum systems, as well as AMD Rome and Milan platforms. Storage options cover HDD, SSD and NVMe, with RAID or HBA controllers, hot-swappable drives, redundant power supplies and dedicated network capacity available according to configuration.

Secure VPN access to built-in IPMI is included with dedicated servers, making remote installation, diagnostics and low-level hardware management much easier. Ready-made dedicated servers form a separate category and can be activated within minutes after payment when suitable hardware is already available, while customized bare-metal configurations generally require one to three days.

Colocation is available for single servers, groups of systems and full racks. Configurations can include rack units, redundant power feeds, measured electrical consumption, internal cross-connects, Ukrainian and international connectivity, public IP addresses, firewall rules, backup space, switch ports and L2 transport between Colocall facilities. This makes the service suitable both for individual server owners and organizations operating larger hardware deployments.

Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS) provides managed Kubernetes environments with configurable computing resources, SSD storage, private Docker Registry capacity, backups, public IP connectivity and load balancing. Monitoring, administration, technical support and SLA coverage are included. The Ukrainian Kubernetes infrastructure operates from Colocall's protected underground facility, making it particularly relevant for DevOps teams, SaaS operators and organizations that require Ukrainian data residency.

Backup Space is available in Ukraine and the European Union. FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SCP and rsync are supported, while Veeam-compatible backup storage can also be configured according to bandwidth requirements, daily data-change volume and the number of simultaneous backup jobs.

Cloud Disk (STaaS) provides iSCSI storage for colocated or rented servers. HDD, SSD and NVMe options are available, with 1 Gbps connectivity for standard HDD configurations and significantly faster network interfaces for SSD and NVMe storage. The storage layer is fault tolerant and distributed geographically.

Security and network services form another substantial part of the portfolio. DDoS protection can filter volumetric attacks reaching approximately 1 Tbps, while continuous protection can be applied to selected IP addresses. Firewall services, private peering, L2 transport and dedicated Internet connectivity are also available.

Colocall operates as a RIPE NCC Local Internet Registry and can provide autonomous system registration, IPv6 allocations and IPv4 address rental. This is especially useful for hosting companies, network operators and enterprises that require their own routing resources instead of standard provider-assigned IP addresses.

The website is available in English, Ukrainian and Russian, while the European 1Cloud Lab operation also provides Slovak-language content. Prices are primarily calculated in EUR, while Ukrainian customers are billed in UAH using the current interbank exchange rate. The website has an older and highly technical design, with dense configuration tools and traditional navigation rather than the simplified presentation used by many newer cloud providers.
