*📜 Plan description

Type A Availability uses a non-dedicated physical CPU thread with no guaranteed CPU resources. The minimum selectable configuration is 1 vCPU at 2667 MHz, 256 MB RAM, one 5 GB NVMe volume, 5000 GB monthly traffic through a 10 Gbit/sec connection, and one public IPv4 address. Storage choices run from 5 GB to 4000 GB per volume and additional volumes can be added. A 50 Mbit/sec unmetered traffic option is also available. Linux, FreeBSD, FreeNAS, Windows Server, Windows desktop, and customer-licensed operating systems can be selected. Optional add-ons include Plesk, cPanel for Linux, Remote Desktop licensing, extended daily backup, hardware firewall service, and fully managed administration. Powered-on resources can be billed by the minute from an hourly rate, while powered-off servers continue to incur storage charges. Eligible accounts can begin with a fully functioning 30-day free trial.

ClubVPS operates cloud infrastructure across 24 data centers in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and Israel. Facilities are SOC 2 Type II compliant or better, climate controlled, physically secured with multi-stage access controls, CCTV, staff, sensors, and alarms, and built with redundant power, cooling, and monitoring. Compute infrastructure uses Intel Xeon server processors at 2.666 GHz or faster, enterprise SSD arrays with newer deployments on NVMe, backbone connectivity up to 10 Gbit/sec per virtual server, and a 40 Gbit/sec server network. Redundant components, failure detection, isolation, recovery, logging, and notification support production availability. Technical support is available by email and phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Billing is recurring monthly unless minute-based charging applies, setup is free, and no long fixed contract is required. Prices are generally non-refundable, a 2 percent administration fee can apply, and Israeli customers pay applicable VAT. The SLA states at least 99.9 percent annual availability, subject to its claim process and exclusions.

📄 Editorial Review

ClubVPS is a long-established cloud infrastructure provider founded in 1999. The business originally operated as OMC Web Hosting before moving progressively toward virtualized server infrastructure. Virtual server hosting became part of the operation in 2002, and the ClubVPS Cloud Computing platform followed in 2009 as a full Infrastructure-as-a-Service environment.

The legal entity is ClubVPS Computers and Communications Ltd., part of OMC Group (omc.co.il). Yohay Azulay, the company’s long-standing CEO, played an important role in its development from a small hosting business into an international cloud provider. Its history spans the transition from traditional website hosting to globally distributed virtual infrastructure, giving ClubVPS considerably more industry experience than many newer VPS brands.

The service portfolio centers on Cloud Servers, VPS instances, Virtual Private Cloud environments, private networks, NVMe storage, cloud load balancing, cloud firewalls, backups, and fully managed cloud services. The contractual service range also includes Cloud Web Hosting, CDN, and DNS, although configurable cloud infrastructure now forms the core of the business.

Cloud servers are built through a detailed resource calculator rather than restricted to a few standard packages. Customers can select the processor allocation model, vCPU count, memory, NVMe storage, traffic allowance, public IP addresses, data center, operating system, control panel, backup service, firewall protection, and management level. This gives technical users considerably more flexibility than a conventional VPS package with fixed resources.

Several CPU allocation models are available. Type A focuses on availability and uses non-dedicated physical CPU threads without guaranteed processor resources. Type B is intended for general-purpose workloads and includes dedicated physical CPU threads with reserved resources. Type T provides burstable processing capacity, although average CPU utilization above 10% may generate additional consumption charges. Type D assigns dedicated physical CPU cores with two threads per core and reserved processing resources.

Configurations begin with very small instances and extend to systems with as many as 104 logical vCPUs, several hundred gigabytes of RAM, and multiple NVMe storage volumes. Individual storage volumes can reach 4 TB, allowing the platform to support development systems, business applications, databases, high-memory workloads, hosting environments, and complex multi-server deployments.

Operating-system support includes AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, CloudLinux, FreeBSD, FreeNAS, openSUSE, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows desktop editions. Windows Server versions through Windows Server 2025 are available, together with optional Microsoft Remote Desktop user licenses. Customers can also deploy an appropriately licensed custom operating system.

The image catalog still contains a number of obsolete Linux, BSD, and Windows releases. These can help with temporary compatibility work, but unsupported operating systems are unsuitable for normal internet-facing production systems. Current AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows Server releases provide a safer foundation for new deployments.

A Virtual Private Cloud can combine several servers, private networking, storage, firewalls, and load balancers inside an isolated environment. This is useful for application architectures that separate web servers, databases, caching layers, administration systems, and internal services. Resources can be expanded as demand grows, while existing server configurations can be cloned for faster deployment.

The Cloud Load Balancer distributes connections between multiple servers and can be combined with managed configuration. It is suitable for websites, APIs, and applications that require horizontal scaling or protection against the failure of an individual server.

Cloud firewall services and hardware firewall options can protect the infrastructure before traffic reaches individual instances. Extended daily backups are also available, although backups are optional rather than included with every server. Customers should therefore add the required backup retention and recovery services when calculating the complete monthly cost.

Managed Cloud Services add operating-system administration, monitoring, maintenance, and infrastructure support. The Network Operations Center can monitor servers, operating systems, databases, web servers, email services, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers around the clock. The service can cover a single business server or a large infrastructure containing hundreds or thousands of instances.

The website supports English and Hebrew, while services are available across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Israel. International prices are primarily displayed in US dollars, while Israeli customers are billed in Israeli new shekels.

The website has an older visual style and traditional PHP-based navigation. Some FAQ content also retains old processor references, discontinued operating-system versions, and legacy technical terminology. The cloud calculator and customer console remain functional, but the newest calculator specifications are more relevant than older FAQ entries whenever the information differs.
