*📜 Plan description

Xeon E5-2697 128 GB is configured with Dual Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2, 24 Cores/48 Threads at 3.50 GHz, 128 GB of ECC RAM and 1000 GB of SSD storage. A hardware RAID card, IPMI console, five usable IPv4 addresses and a /64 IPv6 allocation are included. Bandwidth can run as 100 Mbps unmetered or as 50 TB at 1 Gbps. The listed price is the Linux base configuration before optional licenses, storage upgrades or protected IP additions.

CloudCone dedicated servers are fully managed physical machines with dedicated CPU, ECC memory, local storage and IPMI console access. Each configuration includes a hardware RAID controller, a /29 IPv4 allocation with five usable addresses, a /64 IPv6 allocation and a choice between 100 Mbps unmetered transfer or a higher-speed 1 Gbps metered allowance. Servers are installed in the Multacom facility in Los Angeles, United States, with access to a redundant network built around numerous Tier 1 transit providers, BGP best-path routing, automated fault detection and diverse carrier paths. On-demand DDoS mitigation is included, while an always-on protected IPv4 address can be added for a monthly charge. The in-house dashboard supplies remote power controls and throughput monitoring, and the support team remains available 24/7 for hardware failures, network problems, operating-system issues and best-effort application assistance. Linux can be installed at the base price, while a Windows Server license can be added for $17 per month. Optional cPanel/WHM for 100 accounts costs $44 per month, extra IPv4 addresses start at $1 per month, DDoS-protected IPv4 addresses cost $2 per month and CDN traffic can be added at $0.045 per GB. Storage upgrades include additional SSD and HDD capacities selectable during configuration. The platform is backed by a 100% network and power uptime SLA, and the facility maintains SOC 2 Type 2 controls with PCI and HIPAA-oriented compliance support.

📄 Editorial Review

CloudCone is a US cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2017 by Dulsara Premalal. Its history extends to Quadcone, an earlier hosting venture started by Premalal in 2012 while he was still a teenager. CloudCone later replaced that original brand with a broader cloud platform built for developers, startups, hosting resellers and small to medium-sized businesses.

The company has deployed more than 150,000 cloud instances and developed an affiliate network with over 4,000 partners. CloudCone LLC operates through teams in the United States and Sri Lanka, with the company falling within the 11–50 employee range.

CloudCone concentrates on cloud infrastructure rather than conventional shared hosting. Customers who need to host websites can deploy a VPS, scalable cloud server or dedicated server and install cPanel, VestaCP or another hosting control panel. This model provides considerably more flexibility and administrative access than an ordinary shared hosting account, although it is better suited to customers who understand server management.

The primary service is Scalable Cloud Compute, generally known as SC2. These KVM-based Linux cloud servers include hourly billing, RAID-10 SSD storage, Intel processors, full root access and independently scalable CPU, memory, disk and IP resources. Servers can be rebooted, reinstalled, resized and monitored from the proprietary CloudCone dashboard.

SC2 also includes managed firewall controls, snapshots, automated backups, one-click applications and optional DDoS protection. Entry configurations start with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 20 GB SSD storage, while larger packages provide considerably more processing power, memory and disk capacity. Custom configurations can be assembled from individual resources instead of relying only on predefined packages.

The lower-priced Virtual Private Server range is intended for general Linux workloads, development environments, VPN services, small websites and application hosting. These servers use KVM virtualization, Intel processors, Pure SSD RAID-10 storage, 1 Gbps network ports, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, full root access, VNC, recovery mode and operating-system reinstallation.

Many standard VPS packages are deployed in St. Louis, Missouri, while promotional capacity can also be offered in Reston, Virginia or other available locations. CloudCone regularly introduces annual VPS offers with very low pricing. These discounted servers are attractive for long-running workloads, but promotional packages generally cannot be exchanged for another offer or freely upgraded after purchase.

The Windows Cloud Compute range provides Microsoft Windows virtual servers with administrator access through Remote Desktop. Entry plans include 2 vCPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 60 GB RAID-10 SSD storage, 3 TB bandwidth and a 1 Gbps port. Larger configurations reach 8 vCPU cores, 32 GB RAM and 500 GB SSD storage. Customers can reinstall Windows, configure firewall policies, activate backups and connect using standard Microsoft Remote Desktop software.

For workloads requiring exclusive physical resources, Dedicated Servers are available in Los Angeles, California. These systems include ECC memory, SSD storage, hardware RAID, IPMI access, IPv4 and IPv6 allocations, DDoS protection and either unmetered 100 Mbps connectivity or metered 1 Gbps bandwidth.

The dedicated server portfolio begins with Intel Xeon E3 systems and extends to dual Xeon E5 and Xeon Silver configurations with as many as 24 cores, 48 threads, 256 GB ECC RAM and 100 TB monthly bandwidth. Storage, memory, RAID level and network allocations can be customized during ordering. Dell PowerEdge equipment is used across many configurations, together with Supermicro hardware for selected systems.

Several dedicated server packages use older Xeon E3-1270 v2, E3-1270 v6 and E5-2697 v2 processors. These machines remain suitable for storage, hosting, development, backup and bandwidth-intensive workloads, but customers requiring newer processor architectures should request an updated custom configuration.

The Private Cloud platform is designed for companies that need isolated infrastructure instead of individual virtual servers. It combines dedicated resources with centralized orchestration, automated scaling, load balancing, failover, snapshots, backups and hot migration between physical machines.

Linux and Windows virtual machines can operate within the same private environment, while custom operating-system templates can be maintained for faster deployment. Private cloud installations also include configurable user permissions, high-availability clustering, disaster recovery options and a dedicated management interface.

Business Cloud Support gives private cloud customers direct access to Level 2 cloud engineers, with a target response time below ten minutes for critical infrastructure incidents.

The VPS Reseller Platform allows hosting businesses and service providers to purchase CPU, memory, storage and IP capacity and divide those resources among their own customers. The system supports custom domains, white-label branding, HTML, CSS and JavaScript customization, multiple reseller brands, WHMCS integration and API connections to alternative billing systems such as HostBill.

Reseller clients receive their own VPS management interface for rebooting servers, reinstalling operating systems, using recovery mode, opening VNC sessions, activating backups, creating snapshots and configuring firewall rules. CloudCone remains invisible to the reseller’s customers, making the platform suitable for companies that want to operate under their own hosting brand.

The Hosted Email service supports custom domains, multiple mailboxes, branded webmail and premium SMTP delivery. The Launch package includes three domains, ten mailboxes per domain and 10 GB storage. Startup increases the allocation to ten domains, twenty mailboxes per domain and 30 GB storage, while Corporate includes unlimited domains, unlimited mailboxes and 100 GB storage. Email migration assistance is included.

CDN Nexus is a pull-based content delivery network covering North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. It supports custom CDN hostnames, automatic Let’s Encrypt certificates, pull zones, web application firewall controls, hotlink protection, URL signing, password protection, crawler restrictions, CORS headers and IP-based access policies.

Customers can select inexpensive annual data-transfer packages or monthly regional plans optimized for Asia, Oceania, Europe or worldwide traffic.

Domain registration is available directly through the CloudCone account. Supported extensions include COM, NET, ORG, INFO, IO, CO, APP, CLOUD, DEV, TECH and many newer generic domains. Domain registration, DNS management and server deployment can therefore be administered from the same platform.

Additional infrastructure tools include Automated Backups, Snapshots, Anycast DNS, reverse DNS management, managed firewall rules, Cloud View monitoring, REST API access and One-Click Applications.

Available application templates include WordPress, Docker, GitLab, Nextcloud, OpenVPN, WireGuard, Rocket.Chat, Bitwarden, PhotoPrism, VestaCP, cPanel and cPanel DNSOnly. Cloud View monitors processor activity, memory, disk usage, running processes, network traffic and bandwidth consumption.

The dashboard and main website operate in English, with product prices displayed in US dollars. The customer interface is modern and more capable than the basic management panels commonly supplied with low-cost VPS services.
