cHosting is a Danish web hosting provider founded in July 2011 by Cem Turan, Morten Stenberdt Espensen, Jacob Emil Baungård Hansen and Niklas Høj. The business began as cHosting I/S, combining competitively priced hosting with Danish customer service and infrastructure located inside Denmark.

The company changed ownership on May 1, 2016, when FIONIA IT ApS (fioniait.dk) acquired cHosting and continued its existing products and customer relationships. On May 1, 2017, Proudwing Hosting (proudwing.com) was incorporated into cHosting, and former Proudwing customers continued under the cHosting operation and its Danish CVR registration.

cHosting operates as a brand of FIONIA IT ApS, registered under CVR 25531205. The legal company was established on December 11, 2013, is managed by director Kasper Jepsen and belongs to KZJ HOLDING ApS. Danish corporate records list a small local team, making this a compact Danish hosting operation rather than a large multinational provider.

The service range covers shared hosting, professional hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, domains, DNS hosting, SSL certificates, email hosting, DDoS protection, remote backup storage and customized managed infrastructure.

The main Standard Webhotel packages use cPanel, LiteSpeed and SSD-backed storage. They include unlimited traffic, email accounts, FTP accounts, subdomains and MySQL databases. SSH access, Python, Node.js, ionCube, MariaDB and selectable PHP versions are also available. More than 400 applications can be installed through the included one-click installer, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento and PrestaShop.

Standard packages provide between 5 GB and 15 GB of storage. The entry plan supports two domains, the middle package supports five, and the largest plan allows an unlimited number of attached domains. Each package includes 1 GB of PHP memory and a 100% CPU allocation.

The Professional Webhotel packages use the same cPanel and LiteSpeed environment but increase the account resources to 2 GB of PHP memory and 200% CPU. They are more appropriate for larger WordPress installations, online stores, business applications and websites that have exceeded the limits of a basic shared account. Storage ranges from 5 GB to 15 GB, while the domain allowance extends from two to ten websites.

Daily server backups are retained for 14 days, and customers can restore files through the hosting environment. These backups provide useful disaster recovery, although important databases, mailboxes and business files should also be copied to an independent external location.

The Reseller Hosting service is designed for web agencies, developers and IT consultants that need separate hosting accounts for their customers. Four packages provide between 10 and 40 cPanel accounts, 15 GB to 30 GB of disk space and 50 GB to 300 GB of monthly data transfer.

Each reseller package includes WHM, cPanel, LiteSpeed, daily backups, 1 GB RAM and a 100% CPU allocation. Resellers can create packages with individual storage, bandwidth, domain, database and email limits. Integration with Cloudflare, multiple PHP versions, Python applications and one-click software installation is also available. Billing and direct support for the reseller’s own customers remain the reseller’s responsibility.

The VPS range is hosted in Denmark and uses fixed configurations with guaranteed virtual CPU, memory and SSD capacity. Available configurations extend from 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 24 GB SSD to 6 vCPU, 12 GB RAM and 192 GB SSD. All packages include unlimited transfer and a 1 Gbit network connection.

VPS servers are unmanaged by default. Customers receive root access and remain responsible for operating-system updates, software security, application management and data protection. Managed administration, additional IP addresses, extended SLA coverage, control-panel licenses and extra storage can be ordered separately. Supported server environments include common Linux distributions such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE, Red Hat and CloudLinux.

Some older VPS specifications refer to Intel Xeon E5 processors and SAS RAID 5 storage, while the current ordering configuration uses SSD storage. One older specification also assigns 4 GB RAM to a package that currently includes 2 GB. The final checkout configuration and written order confirmation should therefore be treated as the definitive service specification.

A separate backup product includes JetBackup licensing, secondary storage and rsync access. It is intended as a remote backup destination and does not provide root access or function as a complete managed server.

Dedicated server services have also been available with Dell and HP hardware, Intel Xeon processors, SATA or SAS storage, remote management and optional semi-managed or fully managed administration. The published configurations include older Xeon E3 and E5 v3 systems and legacy Windows Server releases, so current processor generations, drive technology, network allocation, licensing and replacement conditions should be confirmed before ordering.

Standalone WordPress hosting information also exists with older DirectAdmin-based packages and former Proudwing ordering references. The current shared-hosting platform uses cPanel, LiteSpeed and the included application installer, making the active shared packages the more appropriate choice for new WordPress installations.

Domain services cover registrations, transfers, renewals and DNS management. The DNS platform supports standard record administration and DNSSEC for compatible extensions, including .dk and .com. The primary nameservers are ns5.chosting.dk, ns6.chosting.dk and ns7.chosting.dk.

Free automatically renewed SSL certificates are included with current hosting accounts. Customers requiring organizational validation, extended validation, wildcard protection or multi-domain coverage can purchase commercial certificates from Sectigo, RapidSSL, GeoTrust and DigiCert.

The website has a responsive modern layout and is primarily designed for Danish customers. Danish and English interfaces are available, although parts of the English version still contain Danish wording, older specifications and previous product terminology. The ordering system supports DKK, EUR and USD, while the main product prices are normally displayed in Danish kroner. Danish consumer prices include VAT.
