CHML is a Romanian hosting and infrastructure provider operated by CHML Web Services SRL. The company was established on December 3, 2002, under registration J40/12312/2002 and VAT/CUI RO15058531, while its web hosting activity started in 2004. With more than two decades in the Romanian hosting market, CHML has developed from conventional web hosting into a provider covering virtual servers, dedicated infrastructure, colocation and server administration. Adrian Pascu has served as General Manager since April 2008.

Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Server Management, Domain Registration and SSL Certificates. CHML is particularly suitable for customers who want to keep websites, servers and network infrastructure with the same Romanian provider. The company operates AS40975, manages its own IP prefixes, is a RIPE LIR member and uses BGP routing for its network infrastructure.

Shared Web Hosting uses SSD storage together with LiteSpeed, CloudLinux and cPanel. WEB-10 includes 10 GB SSD storage, 1 GB RAM and one 2.2 GHz CPU allocation. WEB-25, WEB-50 and WEB-100 progressively increase resources, with WEB-100 reaching 100 GB SSD storage, 4 GB RAM and four 2.2 GHz CPU allocations. Depending on the package, customers can host between three and 30 domains.

Shared hosting includes unlimited monthly traffic, cPanel, JetBackup, LiteSpeed Web Server, CloudLinux, free Let's Encrypt SSL, Imunify360, Softaculous, LSCache, email hosting, anti-spam filtering and ModSecurity. PHP versions from 7.0 through 8.1 are available in the hosting environment, so customers requiring newer PHP branches should confirm compatibility before moving production applications.

WordPress Hosting uses the same LiteSpeed and CloudLinux platform but provides larger resource allocations. WP-25 starts with 25 GB SSD storage, 2 GB RAM and two CPU allocations, while WP-200 reaches 200 GB SSD, 5 GB RAM and five CPU allocations. The packages allow between 10 and 40 hosted domains.

WordPress accounts include automatic WordPress installation, cPanel, JetBackup, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, Imunify360, free SSL and free migration. LSCache integration is useful for WordPress websites where page caching and PHP performance can significantly affect loading times.

The VPS portfolio is divided into PRO and SPACE series. Both use KVM virtualization, provide full root access and support Linux operating systems including AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and Ubuntu. Customers have access to a server management interface with VNC console, reboot and operating-system reinstall functions, while resources can be upgraded without reinstalling the virtual server. VPS environments can be used for Docker, Node.js, MongoDB, Ruby, PHP, Python, JSP and other server-side workloads.

VPS PRO is optimized around SSD storage. Pro 4 starts with 4 GB RAM, two vCores and 50 GB SSD RAID 10 on a 200 Mbps connection. Larger configurations increase through 8, 12, 16 and 24 GB RAM, reaching Pro 32 with 32 GB RAM, 16 vCores and 400 GB SSD RAID 10. Network capacity increases to as much as 300 Mbps on the larger packages.

VPS SPACE is intended for customers requiring substantially more disk capacity. Space 500 provides 500 GB HDD RAID 10, while Space 1000, Space 1500 and Space 2000 increase storage to as much as 2 TB HDD RAID 10. RAM allocations range from 6 to 16 GB and connection speeds from 100 to 400 Mbps. Traffic is unmetered. Technical assistance, monitoring and reboot assistance are available around the clock, while separate FTP backup capacity can be ordered when required.

Dedicated Servers include both single-processor and dual-processor configurations. Available systems include Intel Xeon E3 and E5 platforms together with larger dual-Xeon servers. Many configurations use pairs of 960 GB SSDs, while higher-end machines include NVMe storage. RAM ranges from 32 GB on entry-level servers to 256 GB on the larger dual Intel Gold configuration.

Dedicated servers include unmetered 1 Gbps traffic, permanent IPMI/iDRAC/iLO access through VPN, a /29 IPv4 subnet and a /48 IPv6 allocation. Failed hardware components have a replacement target of within six hours. Custom installations can extend considerably beyond the standard configurations, including multiprocessor systems, up to 1024 GB RAM, large SSD, NVMe and HDD arrays, and network connectivity reaching multiple 100 Gbps links. Customers using their own address space can also have their prefixes announced through AS40975.

Colocation Hosting is available from both Bucharest facilities and accommodates rack-mounted or tower servers, ranging from individual systems to larger rack deployments. Power supplied through UPS systems and generators, cooling, Internet connectivity and technical assistance are included as part of the infrastructure service. Depending on the configuration, connectivity can reach 2 x 100 Gbps per server.

Colocation customers can announce their own IP prefixes through CHML or establish a BGP session using their own autonomous system. Permanent bandwidth graphs and VPN access to IPMI, iLO or iDRAC interfaces are available. One hour of remote-hands work per month is included, while physical access to colocated equipment is possible 24/7 with prior scheduling and immediate access for emergency situations.

Server administration is available both for equipment hosted by CHML and for servers located with other providers. The service covers 24/7 monitoring, firewall administration, operating-system reinstallations, security updates, resource monitoring, remote backups, web-server configuration and troubleshooting. Supported Linux platforms include Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS. Administration can also cover cPanel/WHM, Webmin and DirectAdmin environments.

Domain Registration includes Romanian domains, traditional international extensions and newer generic TLDs. Domain management covers nameserver changes, contact updates, expiration notifications, transfer locking, EPP authorization codes and transfer assistance. Two-factor authentication and WHOIS privacy options are also available.
