The business became part of GlobalData Investments Inc. in 2018, when GlobalData Investments acquired CeRaNetworks LLC and its operating assets. GlobalData Investments was established in 2016 and focuses on datacenter infrastructure, network connectivity and security-oriented Internet services.

The company is much more infrastructure-oriented than a conventional shared web hosting provider. Its main services cover Dedicated Servers, Colocation, IP Transit, DDoS Protection and Reseller services, with dedicated server infrastructure in Los Angeles, Hillsboro, Oregon and Hong Kong.
