CentoHost is a European hosting provider operated by Globalhost d.o.o., a privately held hosting and domain-services company from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The business has been active since 2002, giving it more than two decades of experience with web hosting, server infrastructure and domain registration. CentoHost operates its own data-center infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina and maintains direct control over its servers, networking, power, cooling and physical security.

The product range covers Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domain Registration, domain transfers and SSL Certificates. Shoutcast hosting is also part of the broader service portfolio. Website development itself is not handled as a standard CentoHost hosting service, with customers instead able to work with external development partners. The website is available in English and Spanish, and hosting prices are primarily charged in EUR.

Shared Web Hosting runs on CloudLinux with SSD storage and cPanel. The range begins with 25 GB of storage and progresses to an Unlimited package for customers with larger requirements. Bandwidth is unmetered, while accounts include unlimited email accounts and databases, multiple PHP versions, Node.js support, HTTP/2, Softaculous, IPv6, free SSL certificates and Imunify360 security. Resource limits increase between plans, reaching as much as 10 CPU cores and 8 GB RAM on the highest shared-hosting package.

Unlimited storage remains subject to fair-use requirements. Shared accounts are intended for normal website and email hosting rather than general-purpose file storage, backup repositories or large multimedia distribution archives.

One of the stronger shared-hosting features is 90-day backup retention. Daily backups can be restored through SmartRestore and cover files, databases, email, SSL certificates and subdomains. Sitejet Builder is included for visual website creation. The Global Smart Panel, or GSP, adds SiteHealth, SEOSuggest, SpeedScan, UsagePulse, ResponsivePilot, ConnectPulse and SmartRestore tools inside the customer environment.

Reseller Hosting uses cPanel and WHM and provides between 10 and 100 individual cPanel accounts depending on the package. Storage ranges from 30 GB to 200 GB, while bandwidth is unmetered. Personal name servers, free SSL, MySQL databases, HTTP/2, Node.js, multiple PHP versions and L3/L4 DDoS protection are included. This makes the reseller range particularly suitable for agencies, developers and smaller hosting businesses that need separated customer accounts without maintaining their own VPS or dedicated server.

The VPS portfolio includes both OpenVZ and KVM virtualization. Smaller configurations begin with 1 vCore, 2 GB RAM and 20 GB SSD storage, while larger packages reach 8 vCores, 32 GB RAM and 500 GB SSD. Traffic is unmetered, with network-port capacity increasing from 100 Mbps to 400 Mbps depending on the plan. OpenVZ provides the lower-cost virtualization option, while KVM offers stronger isolation and broader operating-system flexibility.

VPS customers receive full root access, RAID-protected SSD storage, IPv6 and operating-system choices that include AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS and FreeBSD. Windows is also available with appropriate KVM configurations. VPS instances can be rebooted or reinstalled through SolusVM, and provisioning can occur within approximately 30 seconds after payment. cPanel/WHM and fully managed administration are available as optional services.

Dedicated Servers use mainly Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant hardware, extending from economical single-processor configurations to larger multi-CPU systems. Current configurations use SSD storage, frequently with mirrored 960 GB SSDs, and include unmetered traffic through a 1 Gbps port. Linux distributions, Windows and FreeBSD are available.

Dedicated-server customers receive root-level administration, remote reboot facilities, operating-system installation, hardware RAID options, IPv6 and DDoS protection. cPanel/WHM can be added for €50 per month, while Fully Managed administration costs €69 per month. Additional IPv4 addresses can be leased at €3 per address per month, subject to availability and technical justification, with allocations of up to 64 additional IPv4 addresses possible.

Colocation Hosting gives CentoHost a broader infrastructure profile than providers concentrating exclusively on virtual hosting. Rack-space options range from 1U allocations to complete 42U cabinets, with power capacity increasing according to the chosen configuration. Connectivity options extend from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps with unmetered traffic. IPv4 addresses cost €3 per month, while a /48 IPv6 allocation is available without additional charge. BGP sessions, private networking, IPMI and L3/L4 DDoS protection can also be used with colocation services.

Domain registration covers a wide selection of generic and European extensions, including .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .eu, .de, .at, .it and .nl. Domain transfers use the standard EPP authorization process. WHOIS privacy for eligible international domains costs €6.95 per year, while DNS management is available without an additional fee.

Expired domains generally pass through a 30-day grace period followed by a further 30-day redemption period. Once a domain reaches redemption status, restoring it can involve considerably higher charges than a normal renewal, so renewing important domains before expiration is preferable.

Security is well integrated across the hosting platform. Shared hosting includes Imunify360, free SSL and CloudLinux isolation, while network services benefit from L3/L4 DDoS protection through the GlobalGuard platform. Mitigation capacity reaches up to 6 Tbps depending on the type and origin of an attack. IPv4 and IPv6 are supported across the infrastructure.
