📄 Editorial Review

Budget Webhosting is a long-established Dutch hosting and domain-registration provider operated by Budget Webhosting BV. The business has been active in web hosting since 1999, giving it more than two decades of experience in the Dutch hosting market. R. Hoedemakers has been closely associated with the company for many years, while Budget Webhosting BV is registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 34127754.

The company has traditionally focused on affordable Shared Web Hosting and Domain Registration, keeping its service range relatively straightforward compared with larger cloud and infrastructure providers. Its hosting is suitable for personal websites, small businesses, WordPress installations, Joomla sites and smaller online shops.

Shared hosting has been offered through several package levels with increasing storage, traffic, email capacity, database limits and other resources. Earlier configurations started with relatively small allocations, while newer packages provide substantially more space and are better suited to modern CMS-based websites.

WordPress Hosting is part of the hosting range, while WordPress can also be installed within the regular shared-hosting environment. This gives customers a choice between a general hosting account and a package more specifically oriented toward WordPress websites.

Domain registration is another important part of the business. Budget Webhosting handles .nl domains and international extensions, with domain names available either separately or together with hosting. The company has operated domain and DNS infrastructure for many years and maintains dedicated nameservers for hosted domains.

The hosting environment also includes email hosting, MySQL databases, FTP access, SSL support and website-building tools. cPanel has been used for managing hosting accounts, providing a familiar administration environment for files, databases, domains and email accounts.

Reseller hosting and more advanced server-related services have also been associated with the company, although shared hosting and domains remain the main focus. Budget Webhosting is therefore primarily suited to customers looking for traditional low-cost hosting rather than a large VPS, bare-metal or public-cloud platform.

The website is primarily available in Dutch, and no complete multilingual/localized version exists. Pricing is offered in euros. The website and ordering environment retain a noticeably traditional design compared with newer Dutch hosting companies, with a simpler and older-generation presentation rather than a modern cloud-oriented interface.
