BPWEB is a long-established British web hosting provider active since June 1998. The service is operated by B&P Interactive Limited, a UK company incorporated on June 6, 2000. Samuel Fewster has been associated with the business as its owner and director since 1998, while Nicholas Byng has served as a company director since its incorporation.

BPWEB follows a more focused approach than hosting companies that attempt to cover every possible infrastructure category. Its current portfolio concentrates on Linux Shared Hosting, Multi-Site Hosting, and Reseller Hosting. VPS, cloud server, and dedicated server packages are not part of the standard product range.

Domain registration is also kept separate from the hosting service. Customers can retain their domains with their preferred registrar and connect them to BPWEB through the appropriate nameservers. This arrangement gives domain owners more independence and avoids tying domain ownership directly to the hosting account.

The entry-level Single-Site Hosting package is designed for one primary website. Additional domains can point to the same website, and email can operate across the connected domains, but separate websites require a Multi-Site account. The package includes 3 GB of UK web space, 5 GB of monthly data transfer, unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited POP3 mailboxes, PHP, CGI, Perl, Java support, webmail, SSL-compatible hosting space, and access to an application installer. Single-Site Hosting is available with annual billing.

Multi-Site Hosting allows several independent websites and domains to operate within one account. Each domain can load its own website content without URL masking or traditional forwarding. All websites remain under one main control panel and FTP account, with no separate hosting fee for every additional domain.

This structure is convenient for individuals, organizations, and small businesses managing several websites. Agencies that need separate FTP access, isolated customer accounts, or individual control panels for each client will be better served by the reseller packages.

The Reseller Pro package includes unmetered storage and data transfer, private nameservers, customizable hosting packages, branded customer interfaces, and the ability to create multiple independent hosting accounts. Spam and virus protection through Mail Guard can be allocated individually to customer accounts when required.

Reseller Enterprise extends these capabilities with unlimited Mail Guard filtering and support for creating multi-site hosting accounts for reseller customers. This makes the Enterprise package particularly useful for designers and agencies that need to place several websites inside one customer account rather than opening a separate account for every domain.

The reseller service also includes BPWEB’s proprietary Reseller Hosting Manager. This platform combines a customizable hosting sales website with customer administration, order processing, domain management, invoices, payment records, support tickets, and content-management functions. It provides a more complete white-label business environment than a standard reseller plan limited to creating hosting accounts.

Popular applications such as WordPress, Joomla, phpBB, OpenCart, osCommerce, phpList, and form-processing utilities can be installed through the script library. Current hosting accounts support PHP 8.1, PHP 8.2, and PHP 8.3, while two-factor authentication adds another layer of account security.

The website and customer information are available in English, with product prices shown in British pounds. Its fixed-width and image-heavy design belongs to an earlier generation of hosting websites and is less comfortable on mobile devices than a modern responsive storefront.

Some older sections still contain outdated software specifications, storage allocations, telephone numbers, and infrastructure details. Customers with strict application requirements should confirm the current PHP environment, database versions, resource limits, backup arrangements, and server location before moving an important website.
