BlueHosting is a Latin American hosting provider serving entrepreneurs, small businesses, developers, agencies, and larger commercial projects. The company began in 2010 in Chile and expanded its hosting business into Peru and Colombia in 2014.

The company was founded by San Feng Díaz and later became part of the broader Haulmer technology group. Haulmer develops services for web hosting, virtual servers, electronic invoicing, card payments, digital signatures, and other business operations. The group has grown to more than 250 collaborators across its different products and departments.

BlueHosting Peru operates through a modern Spanish-language storefront with prices in Peruvian soles (PEN). Most prices exclude Peru’s IGV sales tax. The local version is aimed directly at Peruvian customers, with a Lima telephone number and regional payment options, although a few sections still retain Chilean references inherited from the wider BlueHosting platform.

The service range covers Shared Hosting, Business Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Enterprise Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, domain registration, SSL certificates, website security, email hosting features, and migration services.

The entry-level shared plans are grouped under the Entrepreneurs range. These packages include SSD storage, email accounts, MySQL databases, unmetered traffic, free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, malware filtering, a website builder, migration assistance, and cPanel. The Power package is designed for one website, while the Full package supports multiple websites and includes a free .COM domain during the first year.

Business Hosting provides more processing capacity and allows up to 400,000 inodes. It is better suited to growing business sites, online stores, and WordPress projects that need more resources than a basic shared account. Remote database connections are not enabled on the Entrepreneurs and Business ranges.

WordPress Hosting uses the familiar cPanel environment but allocates more resources and places fewer customers on each server. WordPress installation assistance, tutorials, WooCommerce compatibility, SSL, ModSecurity, WAF protection, and server-level DDoS mitigation are included.

The Enterprise Hosting range adds clearly allocated RAM and virtual CPU resources. Entry configurations include 4 GB RAM and two vCPU, while the largest packages reach 10 GB RAM and five vCPU. SSD capacity ranges from 100 GB to 250 GB. These plans allow unlimited websites, remote database access, resource scaling, multiple data copies, and server failover.

Reseller Hosting is suitable for designers, developers, hosting resellers, and digital agencies. Customers receive WHM, separate cPanel accounts, private or customizable DNS, Softaculous, white-label operation, and billing-related functionality. SSH access is not included. Technical assistance is provided to the registered reseller rather than directly to the reseller’s customers.

The VPS SSD range covers everything from small development servers to very large virtualized environments. Entry configurations begin with 1 GB RAM, one vCPU, 20 GB SSD storage, and 1 TB monthly traffic. At the opposite end, configurations can reach 192 GB RAM, 32 vCPU, and 3.84 TB SSD storage. Dedicated CPU and High Memory ranges are also available.

VPS customers receive console access, operating-system rebuilding, rescue mode, private networking, resource statistics, personalized DNS, and email or SMS notifications. Windows can be installed, but the Windows license is not included in the standard VPS price. A cPanel license is also optional and must be purchased separately.

Managed VPS backups are available through the VPS + Backup option. This service retains up to two backup copies and runs an automatic backup each Monday at 21:00. Creating a third copy replaces the oldest available backup. Regular VPS services do not include this backup system by default.

BlueHosting also offers domain registration, commercial SSL certificates, free Let’s Encrypt SSL with hosting, and a separate Web Security service. The security package includes daily scanning, malware removal, WAF protection, blacklist assistance, brand-reputation monitoring, and DNS, SSL, and WHOIS monitoring.

Unlimited shared-hosting resources remain subject to fair-use limits. Consumption is compared with the usage patterns of the wider customer base, and accounts consuming excessive resources can be asked to reduce usage or move to a more suitable service. Customers normally receive at least 48 hours to resolve this type of issue.

Shared and reseller accounts using more than 10 GB are excluded from the regular weekly backup process. Independent external backups are therefore particularly important for larger accounts and business-critical websites.
