Batelco is one of Bahrain's longest-established telecommunications and digital infrastructure companies. Bahrain Telecommunications Company B.S.C. was incorporated in 1981 and today operates within the Beyon Group, combining traditional telecommunications with business connectivity, data center, cloud and international carrier services. The hosting portfolio spans two distinct areas. Traditional Linux and Windows Web Hosting remains available for businesses needing a straightforward local web presence, while the more important enterprise portfolio covers colocation, data centers, Cloud Connect, IP Transit, international Ethernet, IP-VPN, wavelength services, disaster recovery and managed infrastructure connectivity.

Selected wavelength services scale to 400G, while IP Transit configurations cover capacities from 155 Mbps to 100 Gbps. This makes Batelco much more relevant to enterprises, carriers, content companies and cloud operators than a conventional shared-hosting-only provider.

The company supports both English and Arabic, matching its domestic Bahrain customer base and wider Middle Eastern operations. Consumer and locally priced business services use Bahraini dinar (BHD/BD).
