AsiaInfo is one of Kyrgyzstan’s longest-established internet infrastructure companies, operating since 1995. Its history is closely connected with the development of the country’s national internet space, especially the administration of the .KG country-code domain. The .KG extension entered the global Domain Name System on July 12, 1995, with AsiaInfo Telecommunication Enterprise taking responsibility for its operation.

This role makes AsiaInfo considerably more important than a typical hosting reseller. The company combines national domain registry operations, internet connectivity, DNS infrastructure, SSL certificates, cybersecurity products, and technical services for government institutions, commercial organizations, international organizations, and private customers.

The .KG domain registration service is one of the central parts of its business. Customers can register second-level domains such as example.kg, along with lower-cost third-level names under .com.kg, .net.kg, .org.kg, and .edu.kg. Registrations under GOV.KG and MIL.KG are restricted to qualified government and military institutions in Kyrgyzstan.

Both individuals and organizations can register eligible .KG domains, including customers located outside Kyrgyzstan. Registrants must provide accurate identification and contact information, while domain administration, renewal, redelegation, WHOIS access, RDAP access, and DNS configuration are handled through the dedicated CCTLD.KG system.

Optional domain services include managed DNS and registration-data protection. Managed DNS gives customers control over records such as A, MX, TXT, and other common DNS entries. Privacy protection limits the amount of registrant information displayed publicly while retaining the verified customer information inside the registry system.

AsiaInfo also supplies SSL certificates for websites and online services. Domain Validation certificates cover regular websites, blogs, and small business projects, while Wildcard SSL certificates protect a primary domain together with its subdomains. These certificates provide encrypted browser-to-server communication, domain validation, interception protection, and up to 256-bit encryption.

Although AsiaInfo is legally established as a hosting provider and registrar, its current standard product range is focused mainly on domains, DNS, SSL certificates, internet connectivity, and cybersecurity. Conventional shared hosting, VPS, cloud server, and dedicated server packages are not offered through a clearly structured public catalog. Organizations requiring server hosting or a customized infrastructure arrangement need to contact the company directly.

Internet connectivity is divided between Access AI and Link AI services. Access AI uses PPPoE and provides unlimited traffic for households, smaller offices, and organizations. Available speeds include up to 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps for both Kyrgyz and international internet traffic.

Link AI is intended for business customers requiring a static connection. These packages include unlimited traffic, static addressing, blocks of four or eight IP addresses, and 24/7 technical support. Pricing is prepared individually according to the customer’s technical and connectivity requirements.

The cybersecurity portfolio includes Kaspersky-based protection for computers and mobile devices. Depending on the selected package, customers receive real-time antivirus protection, online payment security, device-performance tools, and VPN connectivity. This creates a practical combination for local companies that prefer to obtain domains, internet access, and endpoint protection from the same Kyrgyz provider.

The main corporate interface uses a modern design and is primarily available in Russian. The separate CCTLD.KG registry system supports Russian, Kyrgyz, and English, making domain registration more accessible to international customers. Services are priced in Kyrgyzstani som (KGS).
