Arvixe was founded in 2003 by Arvand Sabetian and spent many years as a broad, feature-heavy hosting company aimed at individuals, small and midsize businesses, resellers, and more demanding enterprise users. They built their name around offering a large catalog without forcing customers into a narrow platform. The core range included Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS Hosting, and Dedicated Servers, with both Linux and Windows options available across key service lines. The company mainly worked in English and sold plans in USD.One of the things that made Arvixe stand out was how much they packed into the standard hosting packages. Their shared hosting plans were built around daily backups, secure IMAP/POP3 email, PHP, Perl, ASP.NET, and Python support, along with long lists of generous account allowances such as storage, bandwidth, FTP accounts, subdomains, forwarders, mailboxes, MySQL databases, autoresponders, and mailing lists. That old-style all-inclusive approach made them appealing to customers who wanted a flexible hosting account without paying extra for every basic feature.
The same pattern continued on the reseller and VPS side. Reseller plans included free SSL, a domain reseller account, broad multi-account support, and promotional extras that were common in that period. Their VPS Hosting was sold as a fully managed service based on KVM virtualization, with free SSL, a free domain name, and a free WHMCS license on qualifying offers. Their Dedicated Servers moved toward a more performance-oriented offer and were later tied to a visible partnership with HostGator, especially for customers looking for stronger dedicated-server resources.
The company changed direction permanently after being acquired on October 31, 2014 by Endurance International Group. That acquisition marked the point where Arvixe stopped being a truly independent hosting brand. By April 2026, they no longer existed as a normal standalone provider for new customers. Instead, the brand had been reduced to a legacy-style customer/login layer tied into the broader Newfold / Network Solutions structure. In practical terms, Arvixe became an inactive legacy brand rather than an active hosting company in its own right.

😠 Worst Service EVER
I can not begin to explain the NUMEROUS issues I have had with this company. To start off with, I am a professional web developer working for a major company. I have been developing sites for over 10 years. I used another hosting company for 8 years and had LESS problems with them than I have with Arvixe in less than a year. I would say at this time, the servers (not just my sites, the ENTIRE servers) at least 14 times in the past year.
The worst of the worst happened recently when somehow (they claim *I* did it ) DELETED entire customer accounts, a few websites and /or databases. It was an absolute nightmare trying to get them to restore the sites and come to find out they only maintain db backups for 1 month. 1 month! Most of the time, I can't even access the control panel or it takes 4 to 5 minutes to load. They are truly a nightmare. They take forever to respond to tickets and if they do, the problems are not usually fixed. It typically takes me makign a phone call to them to explain to the EXACTLY what to do. Please please please, take your money elsewhere. I get you.

We are sorry you had issues with the service. At no point did we say that you deleted your files but there could have been insecurities in the scripts you were using that caused the issue. Depending on the difficulty of issue that you experience a ticket may take longer to solve, yet I am not seeing any tickets that were not responded to in a timely manner. We did reach out to you requesting what backups you needed restored but by the time you had responded to us the backups were gone. Arvixe does keep the backups in case of a chance of server issues but we also make sure they are available for the customer to use. Unfortunately we are not able to hold these backups indefinitely. Again we are sorry you had issues, our QA team has reached out to you each time and explained and also made sure that they provided service/support to the fullest extent of our capabilities. 😞 Worst Tech Support Ever
My website is down for more than 72 hours, at least 5 tickets where opened and none of them receive any response.
I contacted Live Chat, but no one really solved the problem..
If you are willing to pay your money to some one that will not provide real tech support, invest your money somewhere else, not in arvixe.com
