Amplica is a Moldovan web hosting and infrastructure provider founded in 2010 and headquartered in Chișinău. Dan Popusoi is associated with the company as its founder. Services for customers in Moldova and other non-EU countries are handled through Amplica SRL, while European Union customers can contract through Amplica Hosting SRL in Romania.

Amplica has developed beyond the profile of a small shared hosting company. Its portfolio includes Shared Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, VDS, Dedicated Servers, Server Colocation, Domain Registration, Domain Transfers, DNS Hosting, SSL Certificates, Website Builder, Backup Services, server management, cPanel licensing, Mac-as-a-Service, virtual PBX systems and DID telephone numbers.

The shared hosting range is divided into Basic Start, Basic Entry, Pro Advanced and Max Elite packages. The smallest plan includes 1 GB of SSD storage, one hosted website, five databases and unlimited email accounts. Larger packages increase the allocation to as much as 120 GB of SSD storage and support up to 20 websites.

Shared hosting includes free website migration, unlimited SSL certificates, email hosting, a website builder, weekly automatic backups and DDoS/Flood protection. Selected annual packages also include a .MD, .RO, .EU or .COM domain free for the first year.

The hosting platform combines CloudLinux, Imunify360, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, multiple PHP versions, IonCube Loader, cron management, SNI and .htaccess support. PHP can be selected separately for each hosted domain, making it easier to operate websites built on different generations of applications.

Softaculous provides one-click installation for WordPress, Joomla, Moodle, PrestaShop and many other applications. Customers also receive Roundcube webmail, MariaDB databases, phpMyAdmin, FTP account management and optional SSH access. Free migration normally covers up to five websites.

Managed WordPress Hosting offers substantially more processing capacity than the standard shared plans. DreamPress begins with 10 GB of SSD storage, 200% CPU access and 4 GB of RAM. Higher configurations reach 120 GB of SSD storage, 800% CPU and 16 GB of RAM.

The WordPress environment includes LiteSpeed with LSCache, automatic WordPress hardening, smart software updates, security rollback, Imunify360 and weekly backups. Plans also include unlimited databases, a dedicated IP address, optional SSH access and up to 3 TB of monthly traffic.

For customers who do not want to build a website manually, the SiteJet Website Builder includes more than 100 templates and approximately 100 reusable content elements. It supports drag-and-drop editing, responsive layouts, SEO settings and external integrations. Hosting, SSL and a domain are included with the service.

The Linux VPS range begins with one CPU core, 2 GB of RAM and 20 GB of SSD storage. Larger virtual servers provide additional CPU, memory and disk resources, together with a shared 1 Gbps network connection, one IPv4 address and basic DDoS protection.

Supported Linux distributions include AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Customers can operate the server independently or purchase management services. Control panel licenses can also be added separately.

Windows VPS is intended for software that requires Microsoft Windows and Remote Desktop access. The entry package includes two CPU cores, 8 GB of RAM, 80 GB of SSD storage, a 100 Mbps network connection, unlimited traffic and one IPv4 address. A larger configuration provides four CPU cores, 16 GB of RAM and 160 GB of SSD storage.

Windows licensing is not automatically included in the VPS price. Customers are responsible for installing and activating an appropriate Windows license unless a separate licensing arrangement is ordered.

The Dedicated Server range primarily uses HP ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen9 and Gen10 systems. Available configurations include Intel Xeon processors, enterprise SAS SSD storage, hardware RAID, remote HP iLO administration and IPMI/KVM access.

Higher-end dedicated configurations include between 96 GB and 192 GB of RAM, several SSD and HDD combinations, network connectivity of up to 10 Gbps and approximately 30 TB of included monthly traffic. Customers can install AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS or Windows, as well as virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and VMware.

Server Colocation is available for individual 1U and 2U servers, larger 10U and 20U allocations and complete 42U racks. Standard colocation packages include A+B power feeds, one IPv4 address, an RJ45 network connection, 30 TB of traffic, a 1 Gbps port and basic DDoS protection.

Electricity is billed separately. Consumption for 1U and 2U placements is estimated according to the installed hardware, while larger deployments can receive individual online electricity meters. Power billing includes the supplier electricity cost together with a 45% PUE component.

Amplica supports more than 100 domain extensions and provides registration, transfer and WHOIS services. Domain registration is completed through the relevant registries or accredited registrar partners. DNS management is included when a domain is purchased together with hosting, while standalone DNS hosting can be charged separately.

The storefront is available in Romanian, Russian and English. The Moldovan version primarily displays prices in EUR, while other regional versions may use different currencies. Its interface is modern and responsive, with separate areas for hosting, infrastructure, domains, billing and technical support.

Some sections still contain traces of the related IPHOST (iphost.md) brand, repeated text and inconsistent customer statistics. Amplica is presented in different places as serving more than 5,000 or more than 10,000 customers. These inconsistencies do not affect the available infrastructure, but they make the company information less uniform than it should be.
