AlphaVPS is a Bulgarian cloud infrastructure and hosting provider operated by DA International Group Ltd., headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria. The company was founded in 2013 by Alex Barakov, who continues as founder and CEO. Over the years, AlphaVPS has expanded from a regional VPS business into an international infrastructure provider serving more than 40,000 customers across 100+ countries.

DA International Group Ltd. is registered in Bulgaria under company number 202826767 and VAT number BG202826767. AlphaVPS has maintained the same corporate identity while steadily expanding its service portfolio and infrastructure presence across Europe and the United States.

The range of products is much wider than the AlphaVPS name might initially suggest. Customers can choose from Cloud VPS, high-performance VPS, Ryzen VPS, storage VPS, dedicated servers, high-frequency bare metal, storage servers, unmetered servers, GPU servers, colocation, IP transit, DDoS protection, private Proxmox clouds, bare-metal clusters, migration assistance and managed infrastructure services.

AlphaVPS is primarily an infrastructure provider rather than a conventional shared-hosting company. Its web-hosting solutions are based mainly on VPS infrastructure with full root access, making the service more flexible for developers, system administrators and businesses that want control over their software stack.

The Cheap VPS range is the main entry-level option. It uses KVM virtualization, Intel Xeon Scalable processors, ECC memory and enterprise NVMe storage arranged in RAID-10. Configurations begin with small 2 GB systems and scale upward for more demanding applications. IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity is included, full root access is provided, and VPS deployment is generally completed within about a minute.

High-Performance VPS uses AMD EPYC 7002 and 7003 processors together with enterprise NVMe storage and DDR4 ECC memory. These systems are better suited to databases, APIs, business applications and high-traffic websites where storage throughput and CPU performance matter more than the lowest possible monthly cost. The underlying storage platform is capable of more than 180,000 mixed random IOPS.

The Ryzen VPS range focuses on very high single-thread performance. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and 7950X processors, clock speeds reaching 5.7 GHz, DDR5 ECC memory and Gen4 NVMe storage make these plans particularly suitable for game servers, development workloads, build systems and applications that benefit from fast individual CPU cores.

For storage-heavy workloads, Storage VPS combines KVM virtualization with enterprise hard drives, RAID-60 protection and NVMe caching. Capacities can reach 16 TB, making these plans practical for backups, archives, media libraries, file repositories and secondary storage.

AlphaVPS also has a substantial dedicated-server portfolio. Instant Dedicated Servers use preconfigured Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC hardware with ECC memory, enterprise storage, IPMI/KVM remote management and high-speed network connectivity. Available systems can normally be deployed quickly because the hardware is already assembled and ready for activation.

Custom Dedicated Servers allow CPU, RAM, storage, RAID and networking to be configured around a particular workload. These systems are useful for databases, virtualization environments, enterprise software and specialized storage requirements. Typical custom builds require roughly 24 to 72 hours depending on the requested hardware.

The High-Frequency Dedicated Server range uses processors such as AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, 9900X and 9800X3D, together with AMD EPYC 4004 and selected Intel Xeon E models. Clock speeds can reach 5.7 GHz, while DDR5 memory, NVMe Gen4 storage and 10 Gbit networking make these servers particularly attractive for game hosting, trading applications and other latency-sensitive software.

High-Storage Dedicated Servers are designed for large datasets and storage-intensive infrastructure. Configurations can include between 4 and 36 hot-swap bays, enterprise CMR hard drives, hardware RAID or HBA passthrough for ZFS and Ceph, NVMe caching and capacities approaching 1 PB per chassis. Network connectivity can scale from 10 Gbit to 100 Gbit.

The Unmetered Dedicated Server range is intended for sustained bandwidth usage. Dedicated ports are available at 1, 10, 25 and up to 100 Gbit, without traditional monthly traffic quotas or bandwidth overage charges on the unmetered product itself. This makes the service suitable for streaming, software distribution, large mirrors, media delivery and other bandwidth-intensive applications.

GPU Servers extend the portfolio into AI, machine learning, rendering and GPU-accelerated computing. Available platforms include NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 systems with 96 GB GDDR7 ECC memory, RTX PRO 4000, RTX PRO 2000 and RTX 5090 configurations, including multi-GPU systems.

AlphaVPS also operates its own IP network under AS203380 and provides IP Transit services with commitments ranging from 1 Gbit to 100 Gbit. Customers can use IPv4 and IPv6, BGP, their own ASN and either full routing tables or default routes depending on their network requirements.

DDoS Protection can be added to VPS and dedicated infrastructure. Protection can operate continuously or on demand, with malicious traffic redirected to mitigation infrastructure when an attack is detected. Existing server IP addresses can remain in use.

The private-cloud portfolio includes Proxmox Cloud, built around dedicated Proxmox VE clusters. Three-node quorum configurations are a common starting point, while Ceph or ZFS storage, live migration, Proxmox Backup Server integration, private VLANs, BGP/BYOIP and 10 to 100 Gbit networking can be integrated into larger deployments.

Bare Metal Clusters provide another option for Proxmox, Kubernetes, Ceph and distributed applications. Smaller three-node installations work well for compact environments, while five-node and larger clusters are more appropriate for production virtualization, distributed storage, high availability and GPU computing.

Managed infrastructure services are available separately. Fully managed configurations can include operating-system updates, security patching, monitoring, incident response, firewall configuration, backups and performance optimization. Partially managed services can cover initial server hardening, network configuration, backup setup and monitoring while customers retain day-to-day administrative control.

AlphaVPS also supports common workload categories including WordPress hosting, general web hosting, backup storage, game servers, media streaming, self-hosting, development, CI/CD, VPN servers, content delivery, data processing and AI computing. These solutions use the same underlying VPS, dedicated, storage and GPU infrastructure rather than separate traditional shared-hosting platforms.

VPS-based web hosting can run WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel, Node.js, Next.js and other applications without the restrictions normally associated with shared hosting. HestiaCP and CyberPanel are available as free control-panel options, while cPanel and Plesk can be installed with commercial licenses.

The company operates within the European Union and follows GDPR requirements. In 2026, AlphaVPS obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for information-security management and ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management.
