Alastyr is a Turkish web hosting, domain registration and cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2002 in İzmir. The company began under the Smyrna Telekom name and has operated as Alastyr Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. since April 2012. International sales and related operations are also handled through Alastyr Technology LTD in Northern Cyprus.

Co-founder and CEO Serkan Koç has managed the business since its early period, while Serkan Çetintopçu is associated with the company as co-founder and CTO. Alastyr remains Turkish-owned and operates a broad service platform extending from basic domain registration to dedicated servers and physical colocation.

The company manages more than 45,000 hosting accounts, approximately 50,000 registered domains and over 2,000 server customers. Its organization is in the 11–50 employee range. Alastyr is a RIPE NCC member, manages its network through AS3188 and operates as a BTK-authorized registrar for Turkish domain extensions. Domain registration covers more than 150 extensions, including `.com`, `.net`, `.org`, `.tr`, `.com.tr`, `.net.tr` and `.org.tr`. Customers can manage DNS records, enable domain locking and obtain transfer authorization codes through the account interface. Incoming domain transfers use the standard EPP authorization procedure, and eligible transfers normally extend the registration period by one year.

Alastyr’s authorization for `.tr` registration is especially useful for Turkish individuals and companies. VMware-based VDS packages provide isolated virtual resources and more consistent performance than basic shared hosting. Managed cloud packages add server administration, CloudLinux and Imunify360 integration, reducing the amount of maintenance required from the customer.

Dedicated servers provide exclusive physical processor, memory and storage resources. Linux and Windows operating systems are supported, and configurations can be expanded with additional memory, storage, bandwidth or software licenses. Dedicated systems include SSD-based options, continuous network monitoring and access to Alastyr’s server-management platform.

Colocation is available for customer-owned servers and networking equipment. Options include individual server placement, quarter-rack space and complete racks, along with assistance for system-room migration. Alastyr operates the İzmir facility directly, giving its technicians immediate physical access to customer hardware, network devices and power infrastructure.

A specialized InstaFly and XFly Windows server is also available for customers who need these applications to remain online continuously. The standard configuration includes Windows Server, 4 GB RAM, 60 GB SSD storage, Remote Desktop access and a 1 Gbps connection from the İzmir facility.
