35.com, also known as 三五互联 or 35 Internet, is a long-established Chinese domain registration, web hosting and enterprise internet-services brand with roots dating to 1996. Founder Gong Shaohui developed the original business, while Xiamen 35.com Technology Co., Ltd. was formally established in 2004 and became the first Fujian-based company listed on Shenzhen’s ChiNext market in 2010.

The current hosting operation is managed by Xiamen 35.com Information Co., Ltd., a separate company incorporated on June 1, 2023, with registered capital of RMB 20 million and Han Baochuan serving as its legal representative. The domain, hosting and enterprise-services business was separated from the former listed parent, LianSheng Technology, and sold through a public auction in December 2024. Chengdu Yu Yu Ling Internet Technology Co., Ltd. acquired the operation for approximately RMB 48.24 million, substantially above the initial RMB 16.84 million auction price.

The present operation has close connections with West.cn. Both businesses share elements of their Chengdu telephone and customer-service infrastructure, while the social-media account linked from 35.com is also associated with the West.cn ecosystem. The ownership transition caused a temporary salary-payment delay in February 2025, but the new shareholder subsequently injected RMB 10 million and completed the outstanding payments.

35.com continues to operate as a broad one-stop internet-services platform. Its portfolio covers domain registration, domain transfers, DNS management, shared hosting, dedicated-resource virtual hosting, elastic cloud servers, overseas cloud hosting, dedicated servers, server rental, colocation, enterprise email, EDM email marketing, responsive website building, custom website development, WeChat mini programs, app development, OA and OKR software, cloud business cards, SSL certificates, overseas CDN, cloud databases, object storage, cloud disks, snapshots, DDoS protection, IPv6 conversion and reseller services.

Domain registration remains one of the company’s strongest and longest-running activities. 35.com holds ICANN and CNNIC registrar credentials, supports more than 100 domain extensions and has processed more than 10 million domain registrations. Domain-management functions include transfers, renewals, ownership changes, privacy protection, batch administration, registry locking and DNS configuration. Its DNS system uses several rotating name-server groups and line-aware resolution for different Chinese networks.

Shared hosting is divided into economy, general-purpose, dedicated-resource, foreign-trade, database and reseller product ranges. Linux and Windows environments are available, with support for PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, Java, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server depending on the selected package. Some plans support IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack operation, dedicated IP addresses and multiple websites.

Mainland Chinese hosting requires the appropriate ICP filing, while Hong Kong and U.S. hosting can be activated without mainland filing. Shared accounts include scheduled backups, malware scanning, traffic monitoring, security controls and more than 40 self-service administration functions.

Shared hosting carries a 99.99% service-availability commitment. The distributed storage architecture also uses a separate 99.999% data-reliability figure, which concerns platform resilience rather than the contractual hosting uptime commitment.

Cloud-server data is maintained in four real-time copies, while snapshots provide recovery points for accidental deletion, malicious software and incorrect configuration changes.

Customers can resize CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth, reinstall or replace the operating system, restart servers, restore backups, change passwords, deploy cloud images and manage security groups. Additional products include cloud disks, load balancing, cloud MySQL, object storage, shared traffic packages, IPv6 conversion, CC protection and enhanced DDoS-protected routes.

Cloud-server regions include South China, North China, Central China, Southwest China, Hong Kong and the United States. Mainland services use telecom, multi-line and BGP routing options, while Hong Kong products include CN2 and 163 network routes. This range is particularly useful for Chinese websites, cross-border businesses and projects requiring more precise regional routing than a single generic international network.

Enterprise email remains another major part of the portfolio. 35 Cloud Mail includes unlimited mailbox capacity, multiple organizational levels, web and mobile access, global relay routing, message recall, delivery tracking, auditing, login alerts and administrative policies. Email data is maintained in four copies, while the filtering system targets more than 99.9% of spam and virus messages. The range also includes domestic Xinchuang-compatible email, a free trial edition and bulk EDM marketing services.

Website-development services extend from the Ciwei responsive website builder to fully customized corporate websites. The visual builder supports desktop, mobile and tablet layouts within the same project, together with templates, modular page components and SEO controls. Custom development includes individual design, multi-device adaptation, expandable features, data migration and 365 days of maintenance.

WeChat mini-program development, mobile-app development, overseas websites, search-engine promotion and social-media operation services extend the business well beyond conventional domain registration and hosting.

The security range covers DV, OV, EV, wildcard, IP, email, code-signing and Chinese cryptography certificates. Certificate deployment assistance is included. Overseas CDN services are sold through traffic packages such as 500 GB, 1 TB and 5 TB, generally with one-year validity and access to globally distributed overseas acceleration nodes.

Reseller programs are available for domains, hosting, cloud servers, enterprise email, mini programs and related services. Resellers receive a private management environment with customer administration, financial records, order processing, renewal controls and configurable retail pricing.

The service is Chinese-first and operates primarily in Simplified Chinese. It does not provide a complete English storefront or English customer center. Prices are denominated in Chinese yuan / RMB, without a multi-currency selector.

A separate mobile website is available, but the overall design is inconsistent. The main homepage remains active and regularly updated, while several deeper hosting and dedicated-server sections retain fixed-width layouts, older terminology and legacy product specifications. Some server pages still mention Windows Server 2003, outdated processor families and obsolete software packages. Dedicated infrastructure should therefore be ordered only after receiving current written confirmation of the hardware generation, operating system, network route, data center and replacement policy.
