007Names is a long-established U.S. domain registrar and web hosting provider operated by 007Names, Inc. from Bridgewater, New Jersey. The business traces its roots to 1996, when the related Web Express hosting operation was already active, and it became an ICANN-accredited registrar in 1999 under IANA Registrar ID 91. Paul Chou has been associated with the company as Co-Founder and President, while Joyce Lin has served as COO. This places 007Names among the earlier generation of independent Internet companies that developed domain registration and hosting services before today's highly consolidated registrar market.

Domain registration remains one of its strongest areas. The company supports a broad range of generic and country-code extensions, including .com, .net, .org, .ai, .com.ai, .net.ai, .org.ai, .us, .eu, .co.uk, .cn, .tw, .pro and .xyz, together with many newer domain extensions. Internationalized domain names are supported for customers registering names using non-Latin character sets.

Domain registrations can generally be purchased for periods from one to ten years, with lower annual pricing available on some longer registration periods. Account functions include nameserver changes, registrant and contact updates, domain locking, authorization/EPP codes, transfers between accounts and external registrar transfers.

Domain customers receive useful DNS and forwarding functions without having to purchase a hosting package. DNS management supports A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV and SPF records, while DNS changes are normally propagated through the company's nameservers within approximately 15 minutes. Other complementary domain services include webmail, email forwarding, URL forwarding, domain parking and forwarding a domain toward a sales page.

Small Business Hosting increases resources to 2 GB of storage and 20 GB of transfer and includes five email accounts, one MySQL database and a PHP selector supporting multiple PHP versions. It is suitable for conventional small-business websites requiring PHP and database access.

The larger Business, WordPress & Ecommerce package provides 4 GB of disk space, 100 GB of transfer, ten email accounts, two MySQL databases and selectable PHP versions. WordPress management functions are included, making this the more appropriate shared-hosting option for WordPress websites, content-management systems and smaller ecommerce projects. Disk allocations are modest compared with many contemporary shared-hosting providers, so customers with large media libraries or rapidly expanding sites should take the storage limits into account.

Standalone Email Hosting is also available. Small Business Email includes 1 GB of storage and 10 GB of transfer, while the larger Business Email service provides 2 GB of storage, 20 GB of transfer and support for up to ten mailboxes.

The wider service portfolio also includes Reseller Hosting, Dedicated Servers and SSL Certificates, allowing customers to keep domains, hosting and security products under the same provider.

Physical Server Colocation remains another notable service. Customers can colocate equipment occupying 1U, 2U or 4U of rack space. Free server rebooting is included, while backup assistance, programming and other technical work can be purchased separately. Colocation is an unusual addition for a domain registrar of this size and reflects the company's long history in traditional Internet hosting services.

The website and account system have a noticeably traditional design compared with modern cloud hosting platforms. Navigation relies heavily on conventional menus, forms and comparison tables. It remains practical for domain administration, although customers accustomed to newer registrar dashboards may consider the interface dated.
