Raiola Networks is a Spanish hosting provider operated by Raiola Networks S.L., headquartered in Lugo, Spain, and active since 2014. The company was co-founded by Álvaro Fontela Sánchez and Martín Gómez Hermida, and it has grown into one of the better-known Spanish hosting brands for customers who want local support, Spanish IP space, Madrid infrastructure, and hosting optimized for WordPress, CMS platforms, developers, agencies, and small to mid-sized businesses.
Their portfolio is broad and covers Domains, SSL Certificates, Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Joomla Hosting, PrestaShop Hosting, Drupal Hosting, Moodle Hosting, Email Hosting, Reseller Hosting, SEO Hosting, Elastic Hosting, Node.js Hosting, Python Hosting, Ruby Hosting, Cloud VPS, Optimized VPS, Managed VPS, VPS with cPanel, VPS with Plesk, WordPress VPS, N8N VPS, Dedicated Servers, Housing / Colocation, Proxmox clusters, and Linux server administration.
The shared hosting line is based on SSD / NVMe storage, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, Imunify360 security, free SSL, daily backups, DDoS protection, cPanel, RoundCube webmail, multiple PHP versions, Spanish IPs, Madrid data center location, free migration, and 24/7 phone and ticket support. The same platform is adapted for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, Moodle and other CMS use cases, which makes Raiola Networks especially attractive for Spanish-language website owners who want managed-style assistance without moving immediately to a VPS.
The VPS portfolio is more infrastructure-oriented. Raiola Networks offers KVM-based Cloud VPS plans in Madrid with NVMe SSD storage, unmetered transfer, 500 Mbps ports, anti-DDoS protection, high availability, Spanish IPs and root access. Customers who do not want to manage Linux directly can choose Optimized VPS or WordPress VPS with RaiolaCP, while cPanel and Plesk VPS options are available for more traditional hosting administration. Managed VPS adds systems administration for clients who need VPS power but not daily server management.
Dedicated servers and colocation are positioned for heavier workloads. Dedicated servers can be customized by CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth and control panel, with partial server administration included by default. Housing / colocation is available in Madrid facilities where Raiola Networks operates its own racks and network presence, making the company more than a simple reseller of commodity hosting.
The service experience is Spanish-language. This is important for international customers: Raiola Networks is strong for Spain-focused businesses, Spanish-speaking customers, and projects that benefit from Spanish IP addresses and Madrid infrastructure, but non-Spanish users may find the ordering flow, documentation, blog and support experience more local than global.
💰 Price & Cost
Raiola Networks prices are shown in EUR and generally exclude taxes. Shared Hosting starts at €8.95/month for the Inicio plan, with higher tiers such as Base, Medio and Pro adding more disk space and resource limits. Typical shared hosting resources include 10 GB to 50 GB SSD storage, unlimited email accounts, unmetered transfer, cPanel, LiteSpeed, Imunify360, free SSL and Madrid hosting. Annual shared hosting plans can include a free domain for the first year.
Domain registration is available for common extensions such as .com, .es, .net, .org, .info, .eu, .gal and .uk. Examples include .es from €7.69/year, .com from €13.54/year, and .eu from €7.07/year. Paid SSL certificates are also available, including Positive SSL, wildcard SSL, EV SSL and multi-domain SSL products, while free SSL is included with the hosting plans.
Cloud VPS starts at €9.95/month for a small KVM VPS with 1 CPU core, 1 GB RAM and 20 GB storage, scaling through larger plans with more cores, RAM and NVMe storage. Optimized VPS and WordPress VPS start at €14.95/month, while VPS plans with cPanel or Plesk cost more because of the commercial license. Reseller Hosting starts at €39.95/month, SEO Hosting starts at €25/month, and Housing / Colocation begins at €130/month for 1U.
Payment methods include credit/debit card, PayPal, SEPA direct debit, and bank transfer, with availability depending on the customer’s location. Card and bank transfer payments do not add extra commission, while PayPal and SEPA may include small processing fees. Instant methods such as card and PayPal can activate shared hosting and VPS Cloud services very quickly after payment.
The refund policy is clear. Raiola Networks offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for Hosting, Reseller, SEO Hosting, Elastic Hosting, Email Hosting, CMS Hosting, VPS Cloud, Optimized VPS, WordPress VPS and N8N VPS. Exceptions include domains, SSL certificates, dedicated servers, Linux administration services and application department services. VPS with cPanel or Plesk can be refunded under special conditions, but the commercial control-panel license is excluded.
🏢 Data Center
Raiola Networks has a clear Spain-centered infrastructure profile. Their hosting, VPS and dedicated infrastructure is based in Madrid, with Spanish IPs, Madrid data center placement and Tier III-level facilities. Dedicated server information points specifically to DATA4 Madrid / Alcobendas, while network presence is also visible at nLighten Madrid MAD1.
The company operates its own network under AS56958. Raiola Networks has IPv4 and IPv6 support, RPKI BGP origin validation, an open peering policy, and public peering at DE-CIX Madrid and ESpanix (espanix.net). This is a strong sign for a provider that wants direct routing control rather than depending only on upstream reseller infrastructure.
The infrastructure is designed around 100 Gbps internal networking, 25/100 Gbps interconnection, redundant storage for VPS, anti-DDoS protection, dual power feeds, fire protection, batteries and generators, 24/7 monitoring, dual network cards, dual switches and redundant power supplies for dedicated environments. Dedicated server hardware uses professional components such as Dell chassis, ECC RAM, data-center drives and redundant power.
Raiola Networks should not be considered the owner of the physical data center buildings themselves. A more accurate profile is that they operate their own racks, servers, network and platform inside professional Madrid facilities, including DATA4 and nLighten presence. This is still a stronger infrastructure position than a basic shared-hosting-only provider.
For uptime, standard shared/CMS product tables carry a 99% uptime guarantee, while VPS Cloud and several infrastructure products carry a 99.9% SLA / uptime guarantee. Housing information also points toward a 99.9% target, with very high real-world availability expected from the Madrid facility setup.
✍️ Customer Support
Customer support is one of the company’s stronger points. Raiola Networks offers 24/7 support by phone and ticket, with contact also available through web forms and service-specific request categories. The main public contact phone is +34 982 77 60 81, and the main contact email is info@raiolanetworks.
Support is especially relevant for WordPress, CMS hosting, shared hosting, email and managed infrastructure. The company has a large help center and an active blog with tutorials covering WordPress, cPanel, sysadmin tasks, marketing, SEO, email marketing, security, web performance, CMS installation and common hosting errors. This makes the service useful not only for experienced administrators, but also for Spanish-speaking businesses that need practical operational guidance.
A limitation is language. The support and documentation ecosystem is primarily Spanish, so international customers should not assume the same depth of English-language assistance.
🔨 Control Panel
Raiola Networks uses cPanel heavily across Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, CMS Hosting, Email Hosting, Reseller Hosting, SEO Hosting and developer hosting products. Reseller and SEO plans use WHM + cPanel, making them suitable for agencies, freelancers and multi-site operators.
Email hosting includes webmail options such as RoundCube and AfterLogic, along with antispam protection and cPanel-based mailbox management. Shared hosting uses CloudLinux, multiple PHP versions, LiteSpeed and Imunify360.
For VPS customers, the control-panel choice depends on the product. Unmanaged Cloud VPS gives root access and allows the customer to install their preferred Linux stack. Optimized VPS and WordPress VPS use RaiolaCP, Raiola Networks’ own lightweight administration panel designed for WordPress and server management. Separate VPS lines are available with cPanel or Plesk, and dedicated servers can be configured with no panel, RaiolaCP, cPanel or Plesk.
🎯 Conclusion
Raiola Networks is a strong fit for Spanish businesses, WordPress users, agencies, developers and infrastructure customers who want hosting close to the Spanish market. Their biggest strengths are the broad product range, Madrid-based infrastructure, Spanish IP addressing, AS56958 network presence, 24/7 local support, cPanel-based shared hosting, flexible VPS options, dedicated servers, colocation and a clear 30-day refund policy for most hosting services. The company is less ideal for customers who need an English-first experience or a globally localized control environment. Its main advantage is not being a generic international budget host; it is a Spain-focused hosting provider with real infrastructure depth, good CMS specialization, and enough product variety to support small websites, agencies, high-traffic WordPress projects, custom applications and dedicated infrastructure from the same vendor.
