) said today that it is offering six free months of hosting services to DellHost (dellhost.com) customers who transition to Globat.

DellHost customers who transition to Globat can choose from its $7.95 per month Gigabyte, $14.95 per month Commerce or $24.95 per month Commerce Pro hosting plans.
"Globat.com welcomes any DellHost customers who want to sign up with us," said Ben R. Neumann, CEO of Globat. "We are happy to give them 6 months free Web hosting. We pride ourselves on the Web hosting service we offer and back it with exemplary customer and technical service. Low-cost Web hosting has had a bad reputation in the past but Globat.com is setting new standards of excellence. DellHost customers need never worry again."
DellHost announced in December that it was selling its assets to Texas-based VeriCenter (vericenter.com). The DellHost name has been used by Sprint (sprint.com), who announced in June that it was shuttering its Web hosting operations.
Globat said that in order to receive the promotional offering, DellHost customers who transition must sign up for a minimum one-year package. Transitioning customers qualify for the 30-day money back guarantee, Globat confirmed.
Globat also announced its winter sale today. During the sale, Globat's Gigabyte, Commerce and Commerce Pro packages will include increased Web space and data transfer capabilities in addition to greater numbers of email accounts.
