👈 Official Responses: 0), a division of New Zealand-based Web hosting provider Webfarm Limited (webfarm.co.nz), the company announced earlier this week. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Iconz said the acquisition, part of the company's ongoing expansion strategy, will increase its foothold in the New Zealand market and complement its existing Intellihost Web hosting management system.
"Iconz purchased Webfarm because we couldn't find a better match in terms of capability, vision and culture. Both companies are New Zealand owned and operated and profitable. By joining forces the potential for growth is even stronger," says Sean Weekes, general manager at Iconz.
Iconz said that it is currently developing a SME package, in partnership with FreeParking, where customers can choose from a menu of services, such as data back-up and anti-spam filters.
"Feedback suggests that many SMEs owners can be intimidated by the Web and our tailored package will enable them to set up a domain name, email and create a Web site without having to deal with three separate suppliers, which is far easier and cost effective," says Weekes.
