📅 April 1, 2004 - Web hosting provider Hostway (hostway.com ) is offering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (redhat.com) for its Linux dedicated server customers, the company announced on Wednesday. Hostway said the offering helps position it as a leader in the enterprise hosting market.

"We are pleased to be one of the few companies to offer the stable and secure environment that Red Hat Enterprise Linux provides," says John Lee, director of marketing for Hostway. "Our customers receive additional security features, support and the reliability needed for enterprise-level hosting. We know that customers expect Hostway to be at the forefront of technology and this relationship with Red Hat helps us to remain a strong leader in the industry."
Hostway said customers will benefit from the stability, reliability and enhanced security of the Red Hat Linux platform. Users will also be able to access the Red Hat network for support, patches, updates and upgrades.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux is available through Hostway's TruFlex Managed Server plans.
