👈 Official Responses: 0) and Tect AG (tect.de) were among the four fastest growing Web hosts in May, according to research and analysis firm Netcraft's (netcraft.com) Hosting Provider Switching Analysis. 1&1 and Tect AG are based in Germany. Gandi is based in France.

Netcraft compiled a top ten list of the fastest growing providers based on the total number of hostnames acquired. American host GoDaddy (godaddy.com 👉 Total Reviews: 81

👈 Official Responses: 0) topped that list, adding 170,834 hostnames in May - a jump of 7.9 percent over the prvious month. 1&1 followed with an increase of 136,778 hostnames (a 3.5 percent increase), Gandi was third with 71,508 (97.8 percent) and Tect AG was fourth with 66,545 (3.2 percent).
US-based Web hosting companies rounded out the top 10. In order, they were CalPop (calpop.com), Datasync (datasync.com), eNom (enom.com), The Planet (theplanet.com), EV1Serers (ev1servers.net) and NTT/Verio (verio.com). Among the top ten, CalPop had the highest growth rate, adding hostnames at a 127.7 perent clip.
